An independent, charitable organization, North York Harvest envisions a community where all members are able to meet their food needs.

Story

North York Harvest Food Bank is the primary food bank for northern Toronto, distributing over 2.3 million pounds of food in last year through 77 community programs. We believe in dignified food access, empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

My son urgently needed some volunteer hours to fulfill his school program. Among tens of food banks that I tried to reach out, Lisa was the only one who responded to our request! Help please. Still we waste too much food
Iam trying to reach by call bit couldn't get any answer.
This is a good food bank if you're in need. During the times that I visited them they were quite helpful and also too they run a free income tax service for people who frequent the clinic and happen to be on welfare or ODSP.
Wonderful people doing wonderful things.
All these ppl should be proud of what there doing the amount of ppl there helping to eat cause prices are getting out of hand lot of ppl are living paycheck to paycheck sorry know it's about the harvest frustration is being released anyways I wanna say great work all of you volunteers keep up the good work
This is NOT a food bank. These folks supply food banks. They can also tell you which food bank is closest to you. They do forklift training for LEF. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They're always open to folks volunteering, too.
Suddenly, kindness becomes the motive for raising my ambitions. Here is the centre for volunteering and making an impact of changing lives-- without you knowing it.
These people are doing amazing work. Helping the community one meal at a time and one smile at a time.
