Terrible unclean tennis courts. Really noisy and loud. No water fountain nearby

I advise against paying for tennis group lessons at NVTC nnI have been paying for group tennis lessons for one year now and the one thing that I’ve learnt is that the assessment process does not make any sense. The coach has had the chance to observe my progress over the past year, noting that I consistently win rallies against players in the 3.5 group. Each player in this 3.5 group has a lower level than me. However, after retaking the assessment twice, I am stuck at 3.5 based on the fact that did not complete a series of six tennis balls in a certain zone. In comparison, I have been playing in the 3.5 league this summer, winning all my matches, as shows my WTN ranking.nnDespite several conversations with the coach about moving to 4.0, he chose not to review my level as a whole practice, competition performance etc. and advised to keep taking the assessment, until I pass the 4.0 “targets”. Note that technique and athleticism are not considered in the test, pushing the ball in a zone seems to be the best option...nnRegarding the courses, if you don’t beg for advice from tennis “coaches” during the sessions you will get nothing from them. Their primary role is to demonstrate exercises and feed the ball. I believe this practice is intended to increase the profitability of their private lessons.nnFor a better option, I recommend renting a tennis ball machine and practicing alone. This will provide a similar experience.nnI give 1⃣ for the tennis facilities which are amazing
I visited this centre with a friend and was very impressed with the facility. Great indoor courts with an impressive viewing gallery. The folks I met seemed friendly and welcoming. However, I did hear it’s super hard to find courts to play in because of how popular the place is.
love this place, lovely courts! they do private lessons during pandemic which is great, specially that we all need a little exercise during these time. my coach is super friendly and nice and I really enjoy that he is always on time.
Clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend when you're in the area.
I’m deeply concerned about the lack of safety measures at this facility. Why are homeless individuals being allowed to use the showers late at night? This feels extremely unsafe for patrons. It’s already unsettling enough that camper vans are constantly parked outside, with their occupants often engaging in drug use, drinking, and behaving rudely toward people leaving the centre. Allowing them to freely access the facility only exacerbates the problem.nnWhat will it take for proper safety rules to be implemented—someone getting injured? It’s unsettling to walk to our cars at night, passing individuals with aggressive dogs who are often intoxicated or belligerent. The lack of action from the tennis centre sends a clear message that the safety of its members and staff is not a priority.nnImagine the risks: a woman being harassed on her way to her car, a coach being injured in a confrontation, or a child feeling unsafe in the changerooms. This is unacceptable. As the responsible party for this facility and its surrounding area, it’s time for the tennis centre to take action and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
