I have been renting with this company for 2 years now without problems. During a recent very heavy snow fall at least 1.5 feet and a cold snap of -40C I unfortunately had to move, no choice. The snow in the Mt Sima facility didn't get removed until 1 week after the snow dump. When I talked to the office staff and finally the manager she stated due to environmental conditions and equipment not being able to operate in -40C weather. I called the office on several occasions 4 - 6 days after the snow fall asking them to please plow as it is practically almost impossible to get to my storage due to deep snow on the ground and high snow drifts against the storage gates. The snow was so deep I got stuck multiple times during my 3 day move and Iam already driving a high clearance all wheel drive vehicle with tons of winter driving experience. Trying to get unstuck, I was afraid to ruin my vehicle in -40C weather everyone of the 3 consecutive days I was in and out of the facility. I sent pictures and videos also to the owner of the facility to make him aware of this frustrating situation, but no response. When I went to the office on Dec 12, 25 it wasn't even open and phone calls were not answered either for a couple days. Manager stated the company puts their employees first and had to help them with frozen water pipes and stalled cars in this weather. I applaud your morals towards your employees, but when you run a business facility your customers should preferably come first. There is no excuse to leave 1.5-2 feet of snow on the ground for 1 week in a storage facility where customers depend on having access to their storage daily, 24/7. I have lived in the Yukon for 18 years. I know that Bobcats move at -40C, my car does too. It's a matter of priortizing customer service, spending a bit more money to get equipment to move in a timely manner. Very very disappointing experience, especially as the manager just came up with excuses during the phone call instead of accepting ANY accountability.
Rented a sea can from them for 9 months to store building equipment. They couldn’t coordinate a pickup so I had Doug from Capital Towing pick it up for me and deliver it. Everything went great. When I tried to get the rental called off I spoke to a manager with what I believe was a German accent, and she was extremely rude, not helpful, and even hung up the phone when I told her that if they won’t pick it up for over a week, I would get Capital Towing to bring it into town. Super rude woman who manages that office, and I would never recommend anyone to work with her or this company based on my experience. If I could give 0/5 I would.
I had a very easy and convenient process of getting a storage here Ms.Ira was very helpful and nice, she prepared everything so fast, Amazing!
Really professional storage facility with many locations. I went to store my van for winter. Look for Ira. She is really accomodating and a great asset to the company.
Very friendly staff, easy process to rent a storage unit. I've used heated and cold storage here, both are easy to access and well kept.
