Very nice area with walking trails. Interestingly there are ducks on the pond. It’s peaceful and helps you relax when you’re walking or looking at the ducks . No washroom facilities here. Just a nice little area.
Berry lovers beware. I like to try berries when I’m on any trail because I believe they carry a lot of antioxidants. However, when I tried the berries on this particular pond, I had a very bad tummy rumbling and the next day I regretted it because my toilet was clogged. anyways, I hope you guys realize that this pond does not have ducks all year round, despite the name because ducks are migratory birds.nnThis pond is my favourite pond in the world because it has water
We liked the trail around the pond ,but it's not suitable for wheelchair cruising . Gravel patch should be changed for asphalt for the enjoyment for disabled people. You can learn some invasive plants they are marked with pink ribbon. Plenty of ducks surrounding the pond, and other birds ,small benches would be an asset for the park for rest . That would encourage the seniors for a walk and chance of resting or socializing with others.
Really underrated pond. I added it to eBird a month ago and already recorded over 65 species, with potential for so many more! Also great for families and dogs. Great place to feed the ducks, but please only feed them bird seed! Bread can kill ducks as it is very unhealthy for them.
I love this place, today was the first time I've ever been there and my boyfriend and I loved it. There weren't many ducks there, but it was just a nice place to sit and talk and enjoy the incredible place we live. I get my nails done right down the street from there so we definitely will go back there.
