I just completed one term in the LINK program.nI am very pleased with my result. Great teacher Jesse! We, all the group of students, were very lucky to have a such teacher. He taught us a lot. Yes, there were students among us who worked a lot and had little time for homework. It was more difficult for them. But without independent work there will be no progress in learning.nSo, thank you very much to the college! Almost everything was great. The only thing at the beginning was a misunderstanding with the classrooms. As for the rest, I really liked it. Learning, and volunteering, and the opportunity to take professional training for free!nI continue to study at the next level.nThanks Jesse! Thank you, Linda and Paul, Natalia and everyone at the college. Guys, you are great!
I personally don't see the point of phoning Norquest student services because they are very rude and condescending. I am not 4 years old and I don't want to be treated or spoken to like a child when I phone and ask a question and I thought their job was to be helpful and kind. I also don't want to feel like crap just because I had a question or needed clarification. I spoke with one person last week and he was very helpful but that's the only time. Today, I spoke to someone and she was no help and very rude. It's better to go in speak to an advisor because they are knowledgeable and kind.
My cousin is enrolled in early learning and child care program. This is her third week and she is not getting enough studies she paid for. Her classes were scheduled from 8-4 for Tuesday and Wednesday but her instructors said they can teach them for that long so they provide services max. up to three hours. What’s the point of paying for eight hours when instructors are not capable of teaching? It’s a total wastage of money. If Norquest charged someone for eight hours then they must provide services. That’s ridiculous.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, I applied to do my English 30/1 upgrading online, the worst school you can go to for upgrading, no one explains anything to you , I paid 800$ which is the fee for the program, and informed the office that I DO NOT want to be enrolled in any of the dental or health insurances , and then apparently I was enrolled in both as all student get enrolled and was not informed and was kicked out of the course for late payment fee even though I was half way through my course, with no phone call or nothing to even let me know that I have fees to pay , now I have to pay the application fees and the course fee all over again and start my course all over again. Very disgusting, super disappointed .
Wish I could give this zero star at all ever! This is a complete joke! Wasted $500 so I could go back to school this fall of 2024 and later they're giving me so much frustration, that I went to Norquest in person to talk about enrolling in classes but they blocked me from enrolling classes why can't I enroll in these classes to myself? I also wanted to switch to a different term but they said 'NO' so I have to apply for a new application which is unbelievable. AND!! they asked me to pay another worth $100. for student finance like what that gotta with me !! Abysmal management, worst college I applied to. SCAM!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR GOOD MONEY ON THIS SCHOOL!!
