A lady that I spoke to regarding my transcript was very rude. I was asking her politely about the update about it since I didn’t get any email acknowledgment that they have received my request. She was then saying things that I am impatient and that I should know that they get tons of request and that it wouldn’t be processed immediately. I wasn’t asking her any of those things, I was just concern about the fact that they might have not received my email request. I was asking for an update, I wasn’t being in demand of a faster process of it. And even though I was still being polite to her despite that, she’s still going on while being very loud. That was such a bad experience.
Unreal trying to get information from this institution. I had two or three simple questions and I have been on hold for more than an hour, transferred person to person with people not even listening to my actual question before transferring my call again. Not even knowing what I wanted to find out!!! Incredibly unhelpful and incredibly rude. Most frustrating experience ever, and I just wanted to know about their high school upgrading options.....argh!!
Dont let this college fool you. Nothing about this schools LPN program is good. Between having teachers who complain about students taking notes to down right harrassment, norquest is an entity not worth spending your money on. I have seen students near forced out of classes due to teachers misunderstanding eachother. I have been a victim of harrassment by teachers of this school. And when these are reported to other staff nothing is done
Not impressed at all. I applied for academic upgrading and they said my marks were all good to move forward w the program. Two days later I get an email saying my math isn't sufficient. Clearly they don't read transcripts thoroughly so I can only imagine how the rest of their programs are run. Huge red flag there.
Absolute worst college. There are groups of international students that walk around verbally threatening people, physically fighting, and all sorts of bad behaviour and security does nothing. Whats the point in having a code of conduct if the students don't have to follow it. This college is not a safe place to go to school.
Best college in Alberta. I had great experience with them. I graduate from Mental Health Recovery program. International office is super friendly. Now working as youth services worker. Thanks you NorQuest College for all your help.
Since I waited 1year for the offer letter from the college I'm really disappointed from the actions taken from the college by delaying my application till now.i applied for may 2022 intake but I was also asked to pay application fee for September 2022 they by waitlisting my may 2022 application ,it's been more than one month I have been waiting for getting offer letter atleast for September intake I'm really upset that not only I was asked to pay application fee 2 times but also I lost 1year waiting for response from college. I am really disappointed by applying to this college .Making use of international students by stealing money from them!!
Let this place be the last choice for you, they are unorganized, slowly proceed, unprofessional, and what they care is only getting money from new students. If you wish to have a bright future please go to NAIT or Bow Valley college instead.
Absolutely the worst school I have ever attended. I’ve had nothing but problems at this school. I took the healthcare aide program and honestly it wasn’t great to say the least. I think I actually only liked 2 instructors to be honest. There is no help with anything at the school information wise. Trying to apply, requesting info and trying to contact the school was a disaster. I found that on the phone people were unhelpful and rude. They would just tell me to email. Then, that email would tell me to email another email. If I even ended up with an answer it would take forever. My current situation out of many is with the transcripts. I did my exam in January and even after multiple emails and 2 request forms sent to this school the healthcare aide directory still has not received the transcripts to certify me. It’s October. I wish I would say this has been my only problem. I have a list where this came from including when I payed my tuition in full and then the school coming back to say that I didn’t pay a small portion somthing around 100$ of that tuition and charging me a biiiiig late fee. They didn’t even contact with me saying I had more fees after I payed the tuition. It felt like they hid it from me and waited until they could charge me more. The list goes one. Over all I found this school very unprofessional, unorganized and more money oriented than student orientated and yet I was taught person centred care…
Terrible school. Bathrooms were never cleaned. 1 & 2 all over the seats. Not sure how young adults could make such a mess. Getting my refund was almost impossible. Finally writing a bad review because I received my refund after constantly fighting with them to get the process going. Unorganized, and there was a language barrier with most teachers. I’d recommend NAIT over Norquest.
