I have been going to this beach since I was a toddler. Over the years it has been an ok place to swim and visit. I went this past weekend with my son and the amount of work that has gone into the beach and play structures is amazing. If you are passing through Kenora, this is probably the best place to visit with kids.
Wonderful playground for kids, families with water park, inflatable playground on the water, nice sandy beach along picturesque Lake of the Woods!
What an amazing place. Grandkids just love it. Fun for Grandpa too!
This park was really cute and great for kids. Play structure is a little old, but fun for my 2 yrs old. The park and views of the lake were great, saw some geese, and a mom and baby deer walking around in the morning, and the water was very calm. The splash pad looks great and it is quite large to play on. And then we saw Hoopla island too. He is too young for it, but I have heard it is great for older kids and even some adults.nnThis is right behind the railway museum and dairy queen as well, so lots to do.
We visited on a rainy Canada day, but the kids still enjoyed the play structures when the rains subsided. There's a proper tent/covered structure for picnics as well.
