In March 2022 I met my FULL Medicare deductible of $233.00 for 2022. For four months healthcare costs were paid for with the exception of my reasonable patient share. Beginning in August of 2022 healthcare claims by Noridian were all DENIED with the false allegation that I had not met my 2022 deductible, and costs for EVERY. SINGLE. CLAIM for the rest of the year was applied again to a SECOND deductible for the year 2022 deductible! Contact directly with Medicare and their representative looked at my records and agreed that I was being improperly denied coverage, but also informed me that I had to go through the appeal process through Noridian directly. First level appeal accompanied by paper records from Noridian proving in THEIR OWN RECORDS that my deductible had IN FACT been met in March of 2022 were ignored and my appeal was denied! Second level appeal with the same records was again denied! Third and final appeal was not able to be filed because according to Noridian the cost of my effectively STOLEN MONEY as a result of their lies was not sufficient to be considered. IMO this is a result of the new regime taking punitive actions against any White, straight, legal, male, conservative, patriotic, American citizen!
Great place to work. Never been happier as an employee.
These people open mail which was misdelivered to them by their local post office. They photocopied the sensitive info and mailed it to me and kept my originals. Have these people ever Heard of the word forward or return to sender. ??! Outrageous and a breach of my privacy.
They process Medicare claims but do not have a number for patients to call who are trying to get their Medicare claims processed. Instead you have to call Medicare who then tells you that there is nothing they can do because your claim is with Noridian. So the only way to contact them is by mail. How in the year of 2018 are we only able to contact and ask questions by snail mail? So when I ask a question and get the same response that is not helpful. Then I waste money on sending 30+ pages worth of claims and forms every time as they go back and forth since there is no one to speak with over the phone! They ask for receipts for bills that I paid in full with cash at each of my appointments. The bill and receipt are the same thing. It is the exact thing that I sent in last year when I filed a bunch of my claims at the same time and they were processed with no problems. So why do I need to show proof of payment now when the form to fill out for reimbursement states, "Medicare will pay you directly when you complete this form and attach an itemized bill from your doctor or supplier. Your bill does not have to be paid before you submit this claim for payment, but you MUST attach an itemized bill in order for Medicare to process this claim". So Medicare does not require a receipt, but Noridian who processes the claims all of a sudden does? How is this legal? I tried calling them and a rude lady said there was no way to help me since I am not a provider. So again they are just trying to pawn me back off to Medicare who can't do anything since the claims go to Noridian. Worst service ever!
The worst place I have ever worked. You could be great across all metrics and miss something like phone time, because you're training new employees. Monthly meeting put on probation. The amount of turnover is crazy because they don't compensate their call centers at all or provide any support after angry calls. Take advantage of their employees as much as possible without any good incentives, as well as enforced OT Christmas week with less than a week noticed. Not a place to apply.
If I could rate Noridian minus 5 stars, I would. Erroneously and without notice or any due process Noridian terminated my Medicare provider privileges which is required by all private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid. Unidentifiable Noridian personnel ignored my attorney’s phone calls and letters, patient petitions and the FACT that I provided excellent care to an underserved population for 32 years - none of which mattered to them. Noridian’s “administrative appeal” process took 3 years and $30k attorney fees, bankrupting me. Upon finally ruling in my favor, they failed to notice my attorney of their decision and offered no compensation for unlawfully excluding me from practicing medicine for insured patients for over 3 years. Rather than correcting their error by immediately reinstating my wrongfully-terminated privileges, they required me to reapply via their bureacratic procedures. No notice, no due process, no accountability, no integrity, no conscience, no compliance with their own regulations in my case! The evil creatures running this government contract monopoly simply don’t give a damn about the consequences of their incompetence. CMS should terminate Noridian and demand accountability of their replacement contractor corporation.
One of the worst places in town to work, stay away. The promise of good benefits is always stripped down year after year. Advancement only happens if you are an ass kisser and the structure from the top down is terrible. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
It is very strange that I hsd never filed for Medicare application , but somebody filed medicare application on my behalf by doing identity theft .when I called Noridian Health care and reported fraud they hung up on me . Isn't it medicare fraud by using somebody's identity who ou s not even eligible for Medicare
Wish I could give negative stars--these people exist solely to deny necessary medical benefits to seniors. The WORST people in the world to deal with, impossible to reach by phone, hiding behind a PO Box. Negative 5 stars on these crooks.
Medicare's hidden agenda company!
