The food was a fun, upscale take on Cajun food. The oysters were fresh, crab salad was a great combination of flavours, and the Brie and lobster dip was delicious. Wish I took more photos of the food before digging in! The server was a kind woman who handled some of the more “unpleasant” members of our group. She was professional and had a great attitude through it all. Wish I remembered her name to thank her.
Celebrated our Anniversary by visiting this restaurant for the first time. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and live music. We loved our meal and experience, we will definitely visit again!
Service was great. Might have been the worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant. It was seasoned and cooked well but extremely tough. Practically inedible. Seemed like a really cheap cut of meat.Food: 2/5
Fun family night out to celebrate our anniversary. Entertaining live music and comfortable atmosphere. We tried a lot of things on the menu and loved everything! Even dessert. Recommend for sure.
BEIGNETS!!! This is the real deal, New Orleans of the north!! Everything was fantastic!! The food was amazing, we ordered the sea food gumbo, gator bites and salmon topped with shrimp. We rarely order salmon since my wife often cooks it, but it we definitely made the right choice. The gator bites were so good that I ordered a carry out a few days later, and I live in Detroit lol. The atmosphere was amazing, same as the customer service. The love music set everything off right!! This place is a gem, and def worth crossing the border!! FYI we dinned in pre-Covid Valentine's Day
Just when you think Windsor could never deliver a unique dining experience, Nola's has captured our attention. When we file like treating ourselves, and we seem to be doing that a lot these days, Nola's is first on our list. Fantasticly unique up here, top quality, great friendly service, live jazz at 7. If you haven't tried it out yet, what are waiting for?
My very first time ordering from this place as I love seafood with a great taste, I was super excited but to my inmmense disappointment the food looked and tasted HORRIBLE! I ordered the 1lb crawfish boil and those were some horrible disgusting looking crawfishes! I opened them up and they were all filled with some gooey yellow and brown stuffpossible their poop? I did not have the guts to eat that! That same plate came with only TWO shrimpssemi cooked, the potatoes tasted so old and stale that I feel they try to hide the bad taste by throwing some seasoning in to make it "tasty". The only good thing was the two pieces of corn, which at the end came up super pricey bc the rest of the order was utterly disgusting. I do not recommend this plate or the restaurant unless you want to get food poisoning while being heavely charged. Such a disppointment. Coming from a tropical country where seafood is an everyday staple, I know seafood can be tricky but if you going to brag about having "a taste of new orleans" please get it right because I know people down in new orleans would be revolting at this food.
Awesome place. Service was great and the food was AMAZING!! They have very cozy booths to sit in and the service was quick, by the time we ate the appetizers the main dishes came after it and so we didn’t have to wait a long time. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again!
Not only is the food fantastic, the ambiance is out of this world. From meetings to dates and girls nights to family brunch, this spot is a must see. What a great experience.
Had a wonderful dinner in Nola’s courtyard this evening! Blackened chicken was awesome perfectly spiced and oysters were a good size and the house sauces were awesome. Definitely going back for these!
