This NLC Liquor Store isn't big but it does the job and have most of what everyone most likely need. It has beer, wine, rum, scotch, hard liquor. All the staff are so knowledgable and friendly. Moment I walked in and looking for local craft beer, they have a staff who guided me to the back and explained to me the local brands. In particular, he said Quidi Vidi Brewery has a number of good beer but have to try the "Iceberg" made from 20,000 years of iceberg water, not sure how much truth to that on the iceberg precious water but I bought a case. The famous Newfoundland tradition of Screech was on sale. The staff were all so nice and friendly and it was a great experience.
Beautiful church with a real pipe organ. Attended a funeral, place was packed.
I was looking for a local whiskey to bring home from my trip. They offered a taste of a couple different ones to help me decide. Wonderful friendly people there. I bought the Signal Hill Whiskey.
They didnt have what I wanted, but they looked up some of the other stores and let me know where it was available.
Very small liquor store. More wine and liquor selection than beer. It does have Kilkenny though, so some unique beers for what they do have.
