I am sharing my experience with Nissan regarding a serious issue with my 2023 Nissan Sentra SV, which I am currently leasing under a 5-year contract.nAfter approximately two years of use around 67,000–69,000 km, the vehicle developed a critical electrical issue affecting the windshield wiper system. While driving, the wipers randomly stop for several seconds, then resume irregularly, and often stop again mid-windshield. This creates a dangerous situation, especially during rain or snow, and has forced me to pull over on the highway multiple times due to loss of visibility.nIn addition, I am now experiencing issues with the screen and speaker system.nI visited two authorized dealerships:nOctober 4, 2025 – Nissan WillowdalenApril 10, 2026 – Nissan Downtown the dealership I leased the vehicle fromnBoth dealerships refused to address the issue under warranty, stating that the vehicle exceeded the mileage limit, despite still being within the 3-year period.nDue to high dealership costs, I consulted two independent mechanics. After diagnostic inspection, both confirmed that the issue appears to be related to a factory defect likely sensors, wiring, or internal electrical components, and notably, the system shows no error codes, making it undetectable through standard diagnostics.nI also contacted Nissan Canada customer service, but unfortunately received no meaningful assistance or resolution.nI have video evidence clearly demonstrating the issue.nGiven that this is a safety-related defect in a relatively new vehicle, I expect Nissan to take responsibility and provide a proper investigation and resolution.nThis experience has significantly impacted my trust in the Nissan brand.
NISSAN Canada is reputable, knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond to any car-related inquiries. I’ve been dealing with them since 2013, and I’ve only met respectful and honest people who always provided what I needed without any obstacles. Moreover, their maintenance costs are moderate and affordable.
The most horrible customer service. I paid my loan for July and want to payout. They keep asking to pay for July too. Keep explaining to them and they repeat the same request and telling you should pay for July too if you want your debt shows zero.nnThis is insane! They keep telling me we will refund you later. Seriously???? When refund me if I pay July amount too which I already paid? They say we don’t know, but it will be after fixing the system.nnWhy I should take responsibility and pay for your issues????nnI wish there was no star to put.
Absolutely diabolical service from Infiniti/Nissan Canada. I will never touch an Infiniti again. I currently lease a 2024 QX60 and since Spring 2025 this car has been back to the dealer numerous times. First, the air-conditioning wasn't working and had to be replaced. Second, the parking sensors failed and it took a week to fix including waiting for parts and now the fuel pump has failed and the car has been with Infiniti Moncton since 30th April, who have had to rent me a vehicle because the ETA for the new fuel pump to arrive is 24th June 2026!!! That means 2 months from this problem being identified and note that is an ETA. This car has only 22000 kms on it and is a complete failure. I have tried to make a complaint to Infiniti/Nissan however, it is impossible to find a contact email. I thoughtbI had found one but they emailed back saying it was only for finance. I believe Nissan knows these cars are awful so deliberately doesn't provide an online complaint form, number or email because they know they will be inundated with complaints. This has to be the worst car company ever. Never buy an Infiniti.
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received from Nissan Finance.nnOn one evening alone, I received five phone calls between 10:00 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., which I found excessive and inappropriate.nnI returned my leased vehicle in March 2026, as required, at the same dealership where I originally took delivery of the vehicle. After contacting Nissan Finance, I was advised that my account has been closed. However, customer service has refused to provide written confirmation by email, and despite my requests, no supervisor or manager has contacted me.nnIn fact, when I asked to escalate the matter, I was told by customer service representative Saleh that there was no supervisor or manager available. This level of service is unacceptable and has left me with little confidence in Nissan Finance's customer support processes.nnAs a result of this experience, I will seriously reconsider doing business with Nissan in the future. Customers deserve clear communication, proper documentation, and access to management when issues arise. This version is firm, professional, and more likely to be taken seriously by Nissan's customer relations team.
