Very interesting place. A little somber and quiet, but thoroughly enjoyed. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Beautiful camp sites just on the fringe of the Lava beds. Close to river fishing spots. Cell service available...finally! Close to the villages. Gingolx has lots of fish and chips shops. Halibut is amazing! Boat launch into the Pacific in Gingolx. Gingolx also has a nice little campground and fishing in the river as well. Aiyansh has a gas station with a great Chinese food restaurant. Bring your own camping supplies and food as there is no where to stalk up on supplies. No fish bait or fishing tackle available.
