This was my first time at Ninja Sushi & Hibachi and I LOVED it. There were 3 of us and we shared everything since we wanted to try a bit of everything. Everyone was so pleased and happy with everything that was ordered. We ordered Extreme Sashimi Salad, Takoyaki, Shrimp Tempura Entree, Hawaiian Roll, Eel Roll, Fried Matcha Ice Cream, and Crème Brûlée. The pricing was great and everything was delicious. It’s located in Bustleton, which is an easy drive in my opinion and they have their own parking lot. I already cannot wait to return. You won’t be disappointed, so give them a try.
The great place, delicious food. I enjoyed many years of it. But last experience was so bad. On Valentine’s Day I ordered sushi and hibachi. When I got my order I was very upset. the lettuce leaves in the containers were spoiled and rotten. I understand that you guys was so busy on Holiday but better not to give it away at all than to give the customer a rotten product.
Sashimi did not taste very fresh : my husband enjoyed his steak hibachi though. Very disappointed in the quality of fish here. Giving it a 3 because they have alcohol and the server was lovely.
Very nice restaurant to sit and eat some sushi. The chef rolls are huge! Great service!Food: 4/5
Ordered for takeout and had to wait an extra 45 minutes on top of the 45 minutes wait time. The food was a little disappointing. We live just a few minutes away and the food was already barely warm and soggy by the time we got home. They also forgot our miso soups that comes with the bento boxes. The rolls though were fresh and soft and were really good. We did order on Mother’s Day so maybe a different day, food and service will be better.
UPDATE: We came back many times after our initial visit mostly for takeout and are very satisfied with their rolls. We came at around 7pm on a Tuesday night, we were seated on the top floor which was absolutely beautiful, the lighting, chandeliers, and the overall atmosphere was romantic classy and welcoming. The sushi and food was a great 5 star experience. Here comes the kicker though; we were not served or offered any water, no napkins, or chopsticks were given to us until we waved to the waitress to bring it to us, when we asked for some napkins she came with exactly 2 napkins. We also had to wait for our food for a very long time. I would recommend this place for takeout since the food is good, but if you're looking for quality service this is not the place to go to.
I went here with a group of my friends. Our server was attentive and came around every so often to check on my group. However the food overall wasn’t extremely good, just mediocre and a little overpriced for what we were getting. The sushi was good however I also ordered hibachi and the pineapple rice which was bland in flavor and the rice was extremely salty. The chicken katsu was too hard and didn’t seem like it was made fresh. The only thing that I liked was the takoyaki.
Sushi lacked flavor. It was bland. The specialty rolls had imitation lobster or it was puréed—way too large with no real sushi. Example of the salmon salad. Foundation was primarily crab meat and fried crab meat with very minimal salmon. Small American kids menu- Mac and cheese was runny and not very tasty. Will not return. The overall atmosphere - updated - plenty of seating and reservations for large parties are easy to do here. Parking in front. Busy streets with Bustleton Ave right by it. Suggest Mr Sushi or Ahi Sushi down on Red Lion.
I got a California roll, Boston roll, and spruce crab roll. I’m not a super fan of sushi lol but I do like the basic stuff. The sushi was good but completely fell apart like it wasn’t rolled well. Decent prices though!
Doesn't get better than that. I've been going there since 2014. Food is always good, service is always fast, and overall it's been nothing but consistent. I also had larger groups and parties over and everyone loved it. The ambiance is nice, second floor views are great and the menu selection is even better it feels like there is always something new on the menu and something newly improved in the restaurant. Love having this place around the corner.
