We were in Terrace after work, so we decided to grab some food at Ninja. We just went with a bunch of items to share so everyone could try a bit of everything. Ninja is a nice place, they have Japanese and Korean items, I eat Japanese fairly often, however I haven’t been to any Korea places before. My friends were having drinks and one had the beer which he really enjoyed, another ordered the Soju? Pictured but didn’t really care for it, may just be personal preferance. The kimchi we had was nice, which I don’t get, I bought a container of Kimchi the more expensive one at Costco and it was gross tried it once and threw it away, but I’ve had Kimchi at work and here and really liked it. Everyone loved the pork short ribs, super delicious. They have these little potato triangles with dipping sauces, also very good. The chicken dish we had was also very nice and we had these Korean noodles which were really good too. I'd say if you're in Terrace this is a good place to try. Vegetarian options: There's vegatarian options, noodle and rice dishes, those potato triangles, yummy. Parking: Kinda limited in parking, can park across the road. Kid-friendliness: Its a place you could bring well mannered children, doesn't feel out of place to have kids in this kind of place.
Delicious sushi and Ramen. Hopping with activity, but got seated quickly. The service was quick and efficient, some actually ran to clean the tables. Recommended and will return when I'm back in Terrace.Food: 5/5
One of the best restaurants in town. Great selection of Japanese and Korean menu items, which fair pricing. The food was fantastic and my server was friendly. Nicely decorated. Enjoyable atmosphere and comfortable seating.Food: 5/5
I miss Pho from Vancouver and Edmonton I must say. So my wife says let’s try it. Order the large Wonton Soup. Half a bowl of broth little strips of vegetables, few carrots, few pieces of dumplings. Looks like it came out of a vegetable can no flavour no taste. Had to add some soy and black pepper. Disappointed yes. Going back no.Food: 1/5
The worst ramen I ever had. Cheap 1 dollar noodles with water. The ambiance music should go. RAP AND RAMEN don't match. For $50 I can get a better meal anywhere else. Never coming back. The Tuna was old. The only good item was the beer.Food: 1/5
great food, excellent service, good atmosphere, overall great experience. Will be coming back. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant, ran by family also
Twice I've dined here, and twice I've been wildly impressed. On both occasions I was dining with a very large group of people, but I never ended up waiting more than fifteen minutes for my food. As for the food itself, I can't say too much as I've only eaten their ramen, not their sushi. What I did eat, however, was delectable, and I've heard no complaints from any of the perhaps 30 people I know who've eaten here. I hope to return here in the near future! Dietary restrictions: Ninja Sushi has plenty of appealing non-seafood options for people with seafood related allergies, something sushi restaurants sometimes lack.
My hubby and I shared a bunch of rolls and they were fantastic! I recommend Fugi Mountain, yam and avocado roll, Salmon/Chicken Teriyaki Roll, and the Deep Fried California Roll. They are our go to ones every time we order. The staff is super friendly and it's a great family atmosphere!
Sushi was absolutely delicious, though with takeout I wish they used something under the sushi so the sticky rice wouldn't stick to the bottom of the container. Gyoza was very filling and crunchy and the sauce served with it for dipping was perfect. I just wish their number worked for takeout, had to come in to order as the number labeled is unavailable. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sushi rolls available as well as tofu substitutes. Parking: Beside the restaurant unmarked amount of parking spaces. In front of the establishment around 5 parallel parking spaces.
Food is absolutely fantastic. Because its a Korean cuisine I ordered the beef ramen which was to die for. It has the right amount of spice and not too salty. The chicken Katsu, shrimp tempura and Japanese cheesecake was also very delicious. Service was a bit on the slower side, portions are slightly smaller compared to other comparable cuisines. Also a bit on the pricier side. $100 lunch.
