Nick's Dinner House

Beautiful lake,clean clear water,good fishing,cute comfortable cabins, the best bed I've slept in, great beach and swimming area. Great restaurant, super nice friendly people. Perfect weather, the only thing missing was a campfire or a propane firepit. We had a wonderful family reunion, would like to come back next year. We would like to rent bigger cabins on the beach by the restaurant , but heard their never available. I would recommend this awesome resort to everyone!

Tried the restaurant for the first time on Saturday night. Arrived there were 2 people in the dining room. Were asked if we had a reservation, responded no and was told it would be a bit. Waited 15 minutes to be seated were taken to the patio were 5 others sat. Service horrible slow! A cheeseburger with just ketchup was ordered for grandson. Server stated "no problem". When burger came was the standard Nicks burger when questioned server response was " these burgers are difficult to customize". Even had to go look for server in order to pay bill - was told it was not ready, had to wait once again. Will never go back

I have eaten with friends at Nick's a number of times over a period of 7 or 8 years. We call ahead to make sure "Nick" has plenty of Alaskan Halibut. The way it is prepared is 5 star and the portion very generous. The attention to our group on the patio (weather permiting) is always top notch inspite of our loud fun. The chowder, salads, appetizers and deserts only add to the fun, great service and delicious meals. See you in June. Mick

Nice atmosphere, great food and a lovely view of Waitt's Lake! We bring all our out-of-town guests to Nick's and they always want to go back on their return visits.
