For the parents that find themselves in a legal predicament with their teenager DO NOT TRY TO DO IT ALONE!  The judicial system will eat your kid alive.  Reach out to Mr. Nichols.  As a parent, you cannot put a price tag on protecting your child.  Don’t let them take the risk of destroying their future because of a stupid, impulsive mistake they made.  Mr. Nichols will not only guide you and your child through the legal process, he will make sure all options and legal ramifications are clearly understood.  He will never make your child feel bad about what they have done.  He understands and can relate to teenagers.  He sees they are not bad kids, as we as parents already know.  He will take the time to get to know your kid and even go as far as trying to find the root of why they made the mistake.  Then the legal process starts and you cannot ask for anyone better to be in your kid’s court.  Mr. Nichols will handle your case with extreme knowledge and compassion.  I am the proud mother of a now wonderful 27 year old who went through those stupid, impulsive teenager years and Mr. Nichols seen the good in him and stood up for him through his legal issues and protected him from himself.  I am also the proud mother of a 17 year old who made ONE impulsive decision that pulled him into the judicial system.  For 7 months, it weighed on us and dragged out.  My son was jumping through hoops and still failing along the way.  I knew we couldn’t continue on our own and reached out to Mr. Nichols.  One month after that initial meeting, my son’s legal predicament was gone!  Mr. Nichols received a much better settlement of his case then we could ever have imagined.  I know have a 17 year old with his entire future ahead of him with no black marks, because of Mr. Nichols.  I also have a 17 year old that is not copping an attitude of “getting off” but understanding that he’s been given a second chance. I'm so thankful that a close friend of mine referred me to Nichols Law Firm. From day one they were welcoming and understanding and made me feel like I was their only client. I had a very serious case in which jail time was on the table and had Karen Phillips not been my lawyer, I couldn't have said that I wouldn't serve time. I was facing two felonies and a misdemeanor. Her experience and knowledge was a must with my case and her work ethic for me was next to none. She's very easy to talk to and someone that's very genuine, honest, trustworthy, and understanding. In a tough time Karen was there for me and my situation and was willing to work with me as my main residence is out of state, in California. When it was all said and done she worked out a deal that handed me probation with no jailtime and essentially my life back. What was such a hard case and even harder time, she always gave me the peace of mind. I wouldn't do it again without Karen. THANKS KAREN!

Mike did it.....again and again!!!  While on probation over a period of 3 years, I was accused of (3) violations:  1. Relating to a tamper with my  American Interlock device. 2. Relating to a tamper of my ankle bracelet.  I tampered w/ neither, but proving that is not easy, not at all.  3. I also tested very low numbers on an ETG.  When a car breathalyzer blow device, and ankle alcohol SRAM tether brackets, and ETGs give data, it is very hard to credibly contest, so most people on probation don't even think of trying. I mean, surely the data wins over any contradictory evidence or circumstances.  I was innocent of all 3 and told Mike so.  I explained those situations to Mike completely. He prepared appropriate supportive evidence on my behalf, and also lined up appropriate people to testify, even twice using Expert Witnesses. These (3) cases were a work of beauty, and they were over so quickly.  Mike is easy to talk to, very thorough, and prepared.  I can't say enough good things about him.  If you want to sleep well, and rest assured you have the best representation, call Mike.  He's helped me and I am grateful.  RJ

I am an out of state over the road commercial truck driver. As one might expect my commercial drivers license is more than a driving privilege. It's my business and my career. I hired The Nichols Law Firm to combat an OWI charge Michigan. I was immediately greeted with warmth and genuine concern for my livelihood as the team entered somewhat uncharted territory, the trucking business. 
And for the next five months the team worked tirelessly to build my defense. From the federal regulations to how things work. Day after day they navigated my course thru the legal system.

 But ultimately it was a move I can only describe as pure genius, and Mr Nichols performance in the courtroom that sealed my fate in a 7 minute jury deliberation. NOT GUILTY !!! The ultimate result.
