Nicholls Park

The park itself is in need of some updating. The bathrooms were closed, but they did have a port-a-potty next to it. Down the hill, behind the park was a wonderful set if trails! The creek was dry when we went, but it was peaceful and very pretty back there.

Fall leaves are gorgeous. We hid our painted rocks to make others happy. Great place for family pictures.

First, we love Nicholls Park, so why the 1 star? It is in need of safety inspection and minor repairs. A platform is near collapse, exposed bolts/screws, and just observe some areas where kids are constantly slipping and falling. Once fixed this park will return to being an amazing place for imaginations to run wild. Pics posted separately because of how Google didn't let me attach review to posting them.

This is amazing for kids, ours call it "Castle Park." Lots of fun and variety, though it's an old park so careful for splinters. Also seems to be a haven for wasps in summer. Bathroom on premises is locked up, for some reason, so they only have porta potties.

I love the trails. The kids park is good for small children. Lots of equipment to climb on. Bikes are allowed on the trails, but they are wide enough for runners, walkers and bikers.
