I’ve been to bouldering gyms in multiple cities across Canada and this is 100% the best one I have ever been to.nnPros:n- SO many problems to choose from including some great overhangs!n- nice aesthetic with the blue accent wallsn- the best throwback musicn- clean spacen- a kilter boardn- a spacious and well-equipped warmup/workout arean- lockers that you can lock! not a given at every climbing gym, despite what you might thinkn- really nice peoplen- a foot washing station?! My mind was blown nnCons:n- No cafe! It would be nice to have the option to have a coffee and a snack, but that’s the only thing this place is missingnnI do not live in Edmonton but almost wish I did just for this gym :P
Possibly the best climbing gym on earth. My dog gave it five paws. There are so many options for routes, everything is crisp and clean and the music is one good tune after another. So beyond stoked my dog could come. It made his day.
Great gym - new, super clean, and an interior that looks waaay bigger than you'd assume from when you drive up to it.nnLots of variety with the problems, which is great.nnStill working on the final touches with adding in some exercise equipment from what I saw. Not sure if there will be anything else added... coffee + snacks perhaps?nnLove that members have the option of mixing up their bouldering routine between 3 gyms with a single membership.nnGreat work Rock Jungle team!
Great climbing gym! It's actually pretty big and they have individual change rooms. It's a really nice space in a great location. I did find it kinda pricey compared to other gyms. I wouldn't mind climbing here from time to time but probably won't transfer quite yet :nnThe set routes were pretty fun! Less dynamic/ competition style but still super fun.nnLots of parking in the back in the alley in the fenced up area!!
My husband and I did some climbing at Niche while visiting from Calgary. We brought our dogs along as we've never visited a dog-friendly gym. Such a cool option. We loved the gym! It was huge! And so many overhang options - my fave! The holds are new and very grippy. As for the facility, we liked the bathroom set up - very private stalls for change rooms and toilets. Great inclusive option. I also loved that the handwashing station wasn't right in the bathroom. Please consider opening a dog-friendly bouldering gym like this in NW Calgary ;
