Small museum containing a research wing and three exhibits. A heritage building fused with modern architecture, it provides a lot of natural light into the lobby. The front desk was polite and inviting. The museum is small but makes up for it with immersive and interactive displays. If you're ever in need of a bit of culture, it's once place worth taking a look for a bit of Niagara Falls.

Staff was very pleasant. The kids did a scavenger hunt and had fun. Small, but very clean. Don't forget to try on the infantry costumes and the musket

A must do! Educational and fun. Not huge so it won't take more than an hour or two. Buy the guide book to take home. Really adds to your vacation, making it more than just throwing money at tourist stuff you could do anywhere. Free admission on Thursdays after 5pm, which worked great for us as that's when we arrived after coming up from Maryland, gave us a place to stretch our legs from the drive. Went mid October 2017 and it was not crowded at all. Friendly staff and a guide who told us about how her personal familiy history tied into the displays. Staff informed us a lot about things we didn't know regarding USA/Canadian interaction in history. It's nice seeing the other side you don't learn in school.

Excellent war room of the museum. Much info on the War of 1812. Artifacts too! One small detail however. The exhibit tries to make the African-Canadian soldiers of that war out to be more beneficial than the European-Canadians. Not a necessary detail. And not true!
