I signed up my 4 year old rescue pup for the "Common Behaviour & Obedience program". We had the pleasure of working with Serena, and she was an amazing and knowledgeable trainer. She helped us with loose leash walking, reactivity, and even taught me how to properly introduce her to other dogs. For a first time dog mom, Niagara dog Training has helped me gain the confidence I need to be a responsible owner. 10/10 would recommend!!!
These guys are awesome! I got my new puppy in February and was clueless. The online puppy bundle was a lifesaver to teach me what to do and now I’m working with Niagara Dog Academy’s trainer Carol to get Luna my beagle ready to be a therapy dog. Both programs have been incredible and I’m so happy I found you guys!
My 3 year old lab was very reactive and would bark non stop at the neighbour's and lunge and bark at other dogs on our walks. Serena from Niagara Dog Training worked with us and it was the best money I ever spent. She taught me how to help keep my dogs anxiety down. I can now take her on walks and she no longer acts like this towards other dogs. We're still working on the barking but she's gotten much better. I've actually been able to carry on a conversation with my neighbors over the fence without her barking non stop. Highly recommend Niagara Dog Training. They are very helpful and there to answer any questions you have.
I'm so thankful we met Ian from NDT. He invited us to a free pack walk and offered to help me with my reactive little dog. The difference in her after a few walks is unbelievable, Ian is incredibly patient, calm and so knowledgeable. We're working our way into a group class and without NDT's support I'd still have a barky, reactive dog but now she can walk with a dozen dogs with minimal barking and fear. It's shown me what's possible when you find the right trainer.
Such a great opportunity to socialize my pup, with knowledgable instructors helping every step of the way. I would highly recommend Niagara Dog training to anyone who is working on obedience training and development.
It is always a great opportunity for my dog to get to socialize with other dogs, keeping some distance as she is still reactive but she comes down as the walk goes on and she gets more confident. I appreciate the guidance of the instructor who is very knowledgeable and patient.
I brought my husky puppy here for basic training, and the instructors are great! I love that they have two instructors with the class - that way if one dog is misbehaving, they can get one on one attention without the class being interrupted for everyone else. Ian and Nick are great teachers, and I've definitely learned a lot from them.
We have the friendliest, most well behaved and easy to love pup ever. We owe so much of this greatness to Niagara Dog Training. The one on one training we received allowed us to learn how to successfully train our pup. Matt, came to our house and didn’t teach anything directly to the dog. I don’t think he ever touched the dog beyond some petting. He taught us how to train the dog. After visiting our home 6 times to follow up and teach us one or two more things, we were on our own. It was so easy. We’ve never had to squirt water, hit, scream or punish our dog in any way. “One word, one command.” We will never forget that instruction. Dogs don’t speak English, lol! Get Dave and his crew on your team. You and your pup won’t regret it!!!!
