Story

Welcome to the Niagara Crossing Hotel & Spa, the premier boutique hotel just minutes from Niagara Falls. Whether traveling to Niagara Falls for business, leisure, or simply a special occasion, we offer each guest a comfortable at home experience. With special attention to detail and excellence, the décor of our guest rooms and suites offers the precise balance between elegance and comfort.

Guests may be surprised to hear that in 1812, the grounds of our hotel marked the launching point of America’s invasion into Canada. Though the world is a very different place today, the Niagara Crossing Hotel & Spa maintains both the aesthetic charm of Lewiston and the old-world tradition of excellence in lodging service.

The Niagara Crossing Hotel & Spa's mission is simple: We strive every day to provide the consummate experience for visitors to the Niagara Falls Region. The Niagara Crossing Hotel & Spa offers superior amenities and service so guests can experience the grandeur of the Niagara Gorge in a comfortable, casually elegant setting.

The room needed updating. All around with the shower showing it’s age with caulking where the grout was missing. The worst surprise was getting charged with a $10 “destination” fee because I booked it on a third party website. I am not sure how they get away with that. It seems like if they want more for the room they should be charging the third party more for it so the consumer can perform an informed decision. This borders on false advertising to me. Breakfast was good and the location was lovely. The extra fee ruined the experience.
Absolutely a must go. Price is just right, for this 5 star service. Rooms are impeccable, views are worthy of a famous painting. Close to downtown for great food and drinks but can also get them right at the hotel. 50 steps right through the front door to the Niagara River. Million dollar Canadian homes at the horizon. Doesn't get much better than this place. Indoor Jacuzzi, workout place and much more. Highly recommend
Tried to give this place a chance after finding pubes on our hand towel upon our first 10min in our hotel room but then found old blood, feces or who knows what on one of the bathing towels after using it!! : We let the front desk woman know at check-out but she was unapologetic & just asked if we wanted a receipt. Wouldn't have left this review if she atleast acted like she cared! Check towels & sheets before you use them if you decide to stay here!
The deal we paid for the room was an absolute steal! Staff was friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was clean and much bigger than expected.nnThe free breakfast was amazing! My boyfriend who isn't a breakfast person had 2 servings of their eggs.nnI wasn't a fan of the parking situation. They only have about 8 parking spots on site and the parking lot is across the street, which is a bit of a nuisance. It also fills up at night/evening since it is a shared parking lot for the businesses around there. Also, we did get a Riverview room but it was on the 2nd floor . You could barely see the river, but got a great view of the cars parked at the hotel I am sure the higher rooms have a much nicer view, so I would say it has great views over all.nnStill, the entire room had a romantic and peaceful ambiance. The bathroom and shower were spacious as well. Everything was clean and not noisy at all.
We stayed here several times but only recently did we discover that this hotel is pet friendly. We found out when we walked into a super stinky elevator and we couldn't figure out why, until we looked at our shoes. We stepped into a dog's doo left in an elevator for everyone else to step on. The pet owner was absolutely irresponsible. Firstly, hotels must NOT assume that everyone loves pets because not everyone does and some people may be allergic. Secondly, if you choose to allow pets, you must designate certain floors or rooms to pet guests. Some of us do not want to be exposed to the pet hair and dander in furniture. You can't be assured the rooms with pets are cleaned thoroughly. Thirdly if you decide to allow pets to stay, you should consider charging owners more for cleaning. Just like landlords charge pet damage deposit to renters with pets, so should you. You need to be cleaning EVERYTHING to ensure that another guest isn't exposed to that pet odor.nPositives: 1 The staff were great 2 free breakfast is a bonus - eggs, sausages, bacon, bagels, yogurt, pasties, cereals, toasts, waffle etc. 3 Good value for the cost. 4 Great location by Niagara River. 5 Rooms are large 6 good amenitiesnNegatives: 1 Parking is a little challenging. 2 Some rooms are outdated and cracking in certain areas. 3 Rooms don't feel very clean 4 No pet policy that keeps everyone safe and respects non pet owners 5 You can hear through the walls.
