Newtown Restaurant

New town used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant for the lunch buffet. It was very good for many years. Having said that , I have noticed a steady decline in the quality and the taste of the items in the buffet in the last couple years.

As Chinese buffets go this is ok, food was tasty, but greasy. I'd eat here again, but not regularly. Restaurant was clean and food looked to be handled properly. Parking can be a real hassle downtown, they get mostly foot traffic as on street parking is about all that is available, and that's limited.

The service was prompt, water always filled, never had to ask for anything. The food was great, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The plates of food had nice presentation and there was no shortage. When we were done they asked us if we wanted it boxed and did it quickly. Very satisfied with my visit and will definitely return many times.

Really liked this place. I'm a big fan of beef ho fan. I ended up trying this place with a co-worker and it didn't disappointed. Good food and service
