Imagine walk beside the river and after that you will find yourself in hearth of Newmarket downtown with several good restaurants and bars also there is a great community which has a lot of fun programs such as music festivals and place for kids to play technically it is water playground
A great place for an evening stroll anytime of the year. Walking paths, winter skating rink and nearby restaurants.
We are so lucky to have a facility like this in the middle of town. So many great events happening, and there are always people just out and about enjoying the splash pad or rink, beautiful trees lit up at night, the trail, the shops and restaurants, ice cream. The farmers market is great in the spring, summer and fall.

There's a shortage of parking. It may be prudent to walk or take transit. The skating rink is beautiful and nicely lit. It's very popular. I love walking on the well-maintained Tom Taylor Trail, just along the river.
Great place to wander around and easy pathways. There’s a wading pool with change rooms, paved path around the Fairy Lake to stroll around, children’s playground and plenty of free parking.
First time visit this park is very nice has lots of restaurants and bars with patio in a nice quiet atmosphere surronded by the parks, you have a nice little waterfall with calming sounds of the water. Very relaxing has a splash pool for kids its a must visit. Great for walks and donm some store shopping by local shops.
The water feature in the summer is great for kids to splash and cool off. Could use a few more built in activities. Having washrooms available is great as well, although it looked like a cleaning was required when we went in to use the facilities.
A beautiful place to go and enjoy a walk about. Especially with the main Street of Newmarket right there. It might not be a secluded forest, but you can have enjoyment in doing so. Check it out for yourself. Restaurants and amenities near by.
Inviting atmosphere and a wonderful nature walk around Fairy Lake. Lots of entertainment , shops and restaurants to enjoy along historical Main Street. A hidden treasure of York Region.
