Sushi prices and portions here are great. Tried the shrimp tempura roll and vegetable roll. Both were great. Spicy Mayo had no taste. Ginger tasted like soap.
New York Sushi is a very small establishment, but don't let the looks fool you. This is a delicious sushi spot in the heart of Livonia. The pricing is cheap for sushi, but does not compromise the taste and freshness of the food. The staff is extremely nice, and I will be going here for sushi all of the time.
Recently ordered a couple of vegetarian sushis from this restaurant and I just say that the taste was brilliant. I didn't expect them to have such a good quality. It's not expensive either. I ordered 4 sushis and it came to about $15 and it was totally worth it.
Hole in the wall feel to the place. Small and cozy, place was empty when we stopped by but the sushi was delicious. The salmon was fresh and the shrimp tempura had a nice taro flavor to complement the roll.
Great prices, and the sushi is delicious and always is nice and fresh! I have been here many times and would highly recommend it.

Wonderful mom & pop sushi shop! Excellent value, with excellent food. Always fresh, and always friendly. Seriously, if you're in the mood for sushi and want to grab some good and inexpensive on the way home, then this is the place. The rice is perfect, the ingredients fresh, and what more could you ask for?
Small place and small menu, but very delicious! Kind and professional staff. No website that I can find 2015 one is old, so use the menu photos to order!
