New York Pizzeria

My husband and I both ordered calzones and were very impressed with the portions in relation to the price, quality of ingredients, and overall flavour! Our toddler also chowed down on the garlic cheesy bread. Made to order so there’s a slight wait took about 20min however it was well worth it! A big hit for us! We’ll definitely eat here again.

Sooo close to being amazing, but just a few small things hold this pizza back. First off, the sauce is great. Subtle, tangy, rich flavor. The tomato taste shines through. It's seriously fantastic. The crust is outstanding. Crispy edges, light, and a lovely subtle yeasty note. A little floppy in the middle though, but a small price to pay. What holds this pizza back for me is the cheese and toppings. The pepperoni is tasteless, and the cheese is either way too thick and gooey, or thin and bland. It just has no taste. Literally all I get on each bite is sauce and crust. A little more consistency in the amounts of cheese, better quality meats, better quality cheese, and this would be a top contender in the south calgary pizza scene.

Literally just ordered from here for the first time. Super impressed!! We got delivery and it was very quick. It took like half an hour to get to our house and everything was piping hot. We had 2 pizzas, one was Hawaiin and the other was double pepperoni. I saw someone complain in a previous review that it wasn't enough pepperoni for double pep but this definitely was. We also ordered a calzone, caesar salad, and garlic cheese bread. Everything was amazing!! And the deals were great too. So much food. This will be our new pizza spot in the area!

II had an incredible dining experience at New York Pizzeria - Legacy in Calgary, Alberta. The pizza here is a true taste of New York, with its thin and crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The cozy ambiance added to the overall charm. Highly recommend trying their Margherita pizza, it was simply divine! Will definitely be returning for more of their delicious slices. A must-visit for any pizza lover in Calgary!

I don't know what happened because their calzones used to be so good but the last 2 times I ordered mine arrived soggy and tasted bland. Also the cheese bread literally didn't have cheese on like half of it. Loved the wing bites but I'll definatly never order here again which is a shame.Food: 1/5

Luciano was very accompdating, when me and my family ate there. My dad ordered the wrong pizza, but he was kind enough to make us a new pizza. He was very kind. Pizza was also great, not our first time ordering there. Donair pizza is the go to, will definetly be back for more!Food: 5/5

My husband, Steve, swears by this pizza and says it is the best he has had in the deep SE. he’s tough to please so it must be true. I would give 4 starts because my salt and pepper wings were way over cooked last night but I’m going to assume it was a one off and keep the 5 stars for the exceptional pizza and service. Thanks for being an amazing spot! The owner is a wicked guy.

I went here for the lunch special advertised on the road signage. 2 giant slices for $6. The size of the slices did not disappoint. I had a bacon slice and a pepperoni slice. The pizza was pretty good. So overall a good value. Cons: The pepperoni slice was pretty greasy to hold and the takeout containers were made of styrofoam. I generally prefer paper products that I can compost, but that is a personal preference.

This pizza place is amazing. Great amount of toppings, the crust is soft but crispy, great tasting cheese. The owner is so friendly. It is a must try in Calgary for sure.Food: 5/5

If you love pizza, this is the place to go. Haven't had a bad pie there yet. Yes, it's more expensive than your Dominoe's, but waaaay more tasty and plenty of cheese and toppings. Keep it up guys!Food: 5/5
