Food was exactly what you would expect from a New York Fries, IMO they have one of the best classic poutines. Customer service was ok and friendly enough, nothing spectacular I'm honestly not expecting much other then getting my food in a mall food court. This restaurant is located in the Sherwood Park Mall so they have lots of sitting in the food court. They are located on Skip the Dish which is nice as well if you don't want to go to the mall.
Patricia at the Sherwood Park mall location is awesome! She went above and beyond helping me figure out what my celiac daughter with a dairy and egg allergy could have. I really appreciated all the help. It makes it not so stressful for her to eat out. This is the first time in 3 years she's been able to eat at this mall.
Normally good service except for today. All I ordered was 1 poutine and it was a 12 minute wait... the person in line BEHIND me received there order before me and then the person BEHIND them ordered 3 poutines and received them before me. So waiting in line took up half of my break and the 2 people behind me received there food before me. I don't think this is acceptable as mall employees come for a break and are on limited time. I'm not sure why the 2 people behind me would recieve there order before me.
Oh my word this location is absolutely fantastic, from friendly staff to delicious and hot food it has it all. Today my experience with Pat was so welcoming and friendly I highly recommend this location. I give 5 kernels of popcorn
They have good hot dogs, but the fries are inferior to the ones at WEM, they don’t salt or season the fries, they were uncooked, old and taste bad. Today I got the bacon stuffed poutine, they did not pour gravy but rather cheese sauce, the bacon was tasteless nor crispy, the fries were bland, the green onions overpowered anything and I couldn’t even finish it due to this. The outside of the fries weren’t even crispy like the bacon, and the inside was hot mush that burnt my mouth. Go to WEM if you are craving these fries.
Just finished eating at the food court mall. The manager was absolutely unprofessional. She had her voice raised and was being rude to the employee..while I was standing there waiting for my food! The employee finished making my food, I went to sit at a table and I could hear word for word the manager bullying the employee. Disgusting. Will no longer support that location if that is who they keep as a Manger.
After cancelling my skip the dishes order because they apparently could not find a courier to pick up and deliver my food and had my food sitting at New York Fries, for 20+ minutes, I went to NYF to pick up my order and had fantastic costumer service! They remade my whole order because it was sitting there for so long waiting for a skip courier. Definitely returning without using Skip the dishes!
Omg!!! The customer service and service that I received yesterday around noon was absolutely exceptional, staff were all amazing however the lady that was taking orders was AMAZING, so sweet and polite and never skipped a beat and man were they ever busy. Thank you all for our kindness.Food: 5/5
The food was great and so was the service but we had a problem redeeming gift cards. The staff went above and beyond to address the gift card issue for us which is much appreciated!
Thank you NYF!! My grandkids and I were enjoying supper and my grandson's hotdog hit the table and lost all his toppings. I came back and asked if we could have more toppings, without hesitation Patricia made him a whole new hotdog. Table germ free Thank-you!!
