The receipt says take out but this was eat in as you can see the box lid was never folded closed and it's on the yellow food court tray. You can clearly see a greasy, soggy, burnt mess of fries popping out around the edges. Never had fries this bad and hope this helps someone save their appetite and money
It was BCAA member day and there was a huge line of people that were all wanting to claim the promotion. Despite the large amount of people, the line moved quite steadily. When it was my turn to order, I thought the staff were very organized. They had to collect people's BCAA membership number and also verify their driver's license. Given all the extra things going on, the staff were efficient, patient, and friendly. I ordered fries & gravy along with the premium hot dog. There was a minimal wait for the food, and everything came out hot.
It has been a while sincd ive gone to nee york fries and i have forgotten did it taste like. So im finally back to give a review which i didnt back then. The poutine and the nacho fries were okay. Worst customer service ever. The girl at cash counter talking slow at mall atmosphere and shouting at 2nd time when she is repeating the same making people feel like they are not listening. Happened on Nov/20/2022 at 6:30PM. I request store location manager to ask her to talk loud or not to shout on customers.Food: 3/5
My personal all time favourite The staff, customer service, waiting time all 5 star Food is always fresh too What made me write the review is, yesterday they were super-duper busy. I hadn’t got any drinks with my fries for the first time. Out of the queue i asked for water, YOUNG ASIAN GIRL wearing spects staff helped me with such a humble nature,as if i am the only one there. Lots of love n blessings
I got a works and asked sub cheese for gravy. When I opened the box I saw none at all, I moved around the fries to see if it w was at the bottom and still none. Fries at the bottom were completely dry. I left the box opened and came to the counter to show her inside the box and I said sorry was there gravy in this and said she yup I put gravy in there.
WATCH OUT for this cheating from NYF in Metro town food court. My cousin used her gift card to pay for her small order which she still has $7.09 remain balance in her card she checked from online balance before ordering. Then, she came to Metrotown food court using this gift card to pay her order but someone there, like a manager who was in charge at that time. Saying that her balance was only $1.06 after 2 times scanned. My friend replied to a cashier that her remain balance in card still $7.09 a cashier still asking for a difference. =>> a long line up, so my friend gave up to talk back to a cashier and ending up to pay again for her order. ...a ripped off amount was small but imagination they attempt to apply to every customers who use gift cards, dear everyone! They schemed by scanning customers gift cards twice times! So, this message is to red alert for customers who use gift cards to pay for their order! Please check your balance before paying your orders.
Good food, but very bad service. The cashier lady had very bad attitude,seemed like she was really bothered by simple orders.
Still some of the best fries in the city, and I say this as a harsh fry critic. The staff was also really friendly and patient as we changed our order 3 times.Food: 5/5
The guy who served us was very polite and very nice to my boyfriend and I. He helped my boyfriend with something he had problems with and he was happy to help. He had such a positive attitude!
