I just go there to play pool. That said, the pool tables are great, and the bartender, Sarah, is amazing! She knows what her regulars drink and takes care of them before they even ask! The food is decent and convenient. I wouldn't suggest it to people looking for authentic Cantonese food though.
I wasn't pleased with the dinner menu options. More variety would have been nice. The food looked appetizing, but was not great. Prices are pretty high for poor quality food. Our waitress was so so. This was our first time trying this restaurant and probably our last.
Had Mongolian Beef, which comes with sweet and sour pork. I am very allergic to the sauce, so I asked to have it on a separate plate to give to my husband. The waitress got very angry and yelled about no substitutions. Like a plate is a substitution? She literally slammed our water glasses on the table. She acts like the owner. This is the 3rd time going there, and rude service has been every time. If there's a next time, we'll get it to go.
Arrived around 7 on Thanksgiving for my birthday. This is the 3rd adult birthday on thanksgiving and everyone of them was at New Peking, so much fun. Great bartender and very good drinks. Will do it again on Nov 24th 2033 when my bday lands on thanksgiving again! In the mean time I will pop in for some drinks from time to time
The service is always excellent and the food was perfect. We had peking dinner for 2. It came with soup fried shrimp and the meals was a shrimp and chicken dish with veggies, chicken chow mein and honey walnut shrimp and fried rice. We had plenty of leftovers.Food: 5/5
I would head to the next bar down the road. Pool table rules are ridiculous. Bartending was horrible. Me and a couple buddy's each got a beer and when we took our glasses back up to get another round, she grabbed our glasses and refilled them! Absolutely disgusting. We didn't know who's glass was who's and she expected us to drink off of one another's. Stay far away from this place.
This was my first time trying this Restaurant. Entering the front door was very dirty and the lobby wasn't clean. I was surprised there weren't more patrons for a Sunday at lunch time, but I was thankful as I was pretty hungry from shopping. I ordered the almond chicken and sweet & sour pork. The food was served luke-warm and was not very tasty. My friend ordered the orange chicken and he wasnt impressed either. I barely touched my food and didnt take home the leftovers because I knew I wouldnt eat it. The service was okay, but not overly friendly or welcoming.
Tastes a little off. Not sure how else to put it. Not the highest quality selection of ingredients maybe, but not awful. Our waitress was very nice though and the price isn’t bad.
The food is good, portions are small for the price but what ruined the experience was the customer service. The food came fast but the waitress was rude and very short with us. Not very nice at all. Unfortunately I don’t see us going back.
Went there to celebrate my son's life. He passed away a few months ago and this was his favorite place to hang out. A bunch of us went but that night was so packed so we ended up going to his 2nd choice bar.
