Recently moved to Bellingham from Ferndale. Delicious tamales and pinto beans. I had the Hatch chili and the chorizo tamales -- the latter is on the menu for a limited time, although I think it'll be coming back. The icing on the cake is the delightful owner.
Absolutely fabulous! I haven't had tamales this good for years. Friendly service, clean and comfortable dining area and incredible food. Good vegetarian tamales are hard to find let alone vegan, this place has them.
New Mexico Tamale is delish. The tamales are fresh and delish! Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the most enthusiastic owner! She helps you through the menu. The hatch chili sauce is yum and spicy. The traditional rice is good too. Try it, you'll like it.
The tamales were delicious! We loved the red and green pork and the green chicken tamales.
I love Dora's tamales. My dad is from NM and this is definitely the real thing. I love when she does party packs and when you sign up for her emails you get some good deals in there. One of my favorite things to order there is the green chile queso. Omg!!!!
We showed up thinking they were open, but their grand opening wasn't for a few more days Google maps was miss informed. But when we walked in they were super gracious and offered us some tamales they had just cooked!! That was super nice and the tamales were excellent! We will definitely be back to try the full menu!!
