Good reviews are important to making the right decision and NHK deserves one. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. You also recieve a very very large serving of food for the price and it tasted good. Tea came on the house and was good as well. Don't know when I'll be in the area again but if I am I will be back. Edit: sorry! Don't know what happened with my photos
This place is absolutely delicious . The staff is super friendly. The portions are enough that when we get the large size, we have leftovers. I order from here whenever I want Chinese food and it never disappoints I order carry out.
Fantastic! Sesame balls are the best I’ve had. We tried all kinds of food here and it was all great. We have favorites though. The sweet and sour chicken, sesame balls, spring roll, fried rice, low mien. Etc. love the fact you get tea! Felt very authentic. So friendly and wonderful. Loved will be back Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options.
We have ordered twice for carryout and the service was amazing despite how busy they were. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The man who took our order had a smile the entire time even tho the phone never stopped ringing with the amount of customers walking in to match. Food was amazing! Im picky with my egg rolls and crab rangoon but they get a 10/10!! Orange chicken, beef fried rice, chicken in garlic sauce, beef chow fun alllll amazing!!! We will remain repeat customers and I highly recommend you do to!!

I really like this restaurant because not only is the food good but the customer service is also. I have never dined in but the guest that do always seem comfortable and pleased. It’s a very comfortable family type environment. I recommend anyone who wants to eat good to visit this restaurant.
True definition of an walking angel!! Peter is so caring and friendly with his customers. I enjoy dining in with my toddler who loves the fried rice and shrimp and chicken egg rolls … well for me …aye Peter food so good I literally shake what my momma gave me before I get in my car . You want to dance ?? Eat at this place , food so good you’ll want to dance Kid-friendliness: Peter the owner gave my son and I cookies, and my baby couldn’t stop smiling.
Definitely one of the best Chinese food places around. Best egg rolls I have tried in a long time. The Combination Fried Rice as well as the Tangerine Chicken is very flavorful. The owner is a very nice man and very friendly.
Their food was delicious! Great price for thekr portion sizes! This is now our go to place for Chinese. So glad I found it! My fiancé has been eating here for years but we didn't know they delivered to us! So glad to find out they do!Food: 5/5

It's been run by Peterwho is the nicest man on the planet and remembers everyone and his family since opening over a century ago. I've been eating from this place for over 20 years nowI'm now 36 and I won't eat anywhere else. I have driven a half hour to pick some upsolely for myself too lol They have dine in, carryout, and delivery and they deliver pretty far too! They will deliver pretty far into Portage which no other place in Hobart does, which makes me and my belly happy I have never ever been disappointed in anything I've ever ordered. I can eat off the large fried rice probably 3 times because the box is so stuffed, not sure how they do it or get it closed for that matter. Food is always hot even when I had it delivered which from the time I ordered to it being dropped off was a little over an hour I live at least 20 minutes from there depending on lights so it's not as bad as it sounds time wise lol This last time it was 35 minutes from ordering to my doorstep!!!!
