Founded in 1969, the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association is an association of snowmobile clubs, working together as a unified voice.
The Purpose of NHSA
To promote and foster snowmobiling as a sport and recreation for its members.
To aid and guide in the enacting of sensible legislation governing snow traveling vehicles
and related activities.
To exchange within the association ideas, trail information, group activities and information
pertinent to the welfare of snowmobiling.
To create and maintain, mark and map, a system of public and private trails for the use of snowmobiles.
To promote good conduct, sportsmanship, safety and conservation practices.
To educate snowmobilers in conjunction with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department regarding safety, first aid, correct operating techniques, and other information for safe riding

Provides overall information about snowmobiling and related activities throughout the state.
Works with legislative representatives in monitoring bills in the legislature.
Works with the Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED) and the Bureau
of Trails (BOT) to establish trail networks throughout the state.
Works with state agencies and associations to coordinate snowmobile activities throughout
New England.
Associates with national and international groups to discuss and act upon laws and operations internationally.
Associates with organizations such as the White Mountain National Forest and other environmental groups to help develop and maintain the network of state trails.
Provides a newspaper (Sno-Traveler) to all members from September to April
Provides a sounding board for you on snowmobile matters of interest.
