I have been a customer of New Directions Aromatics for over 14 years. The customer service is excellent, products ship fast and the quality is the best. I especially love the essential oils.
I have been ordering from NDA occasionally since 2014 I think! I am a hobbyist and make skin care and candle gifts for family and friends.nnMy early experiences with NDA were good! Then last year they were having some challenges processing and getting orders out in a timely manner.nnBut I'm back to say that this time around my order process was amazing! I ordered on September 14th in advance of the Xmas rush and I had my delivery by September 17th! Way to go NDA! Great job with the communications regarding my order status, the prices are still competitive, the quality of the products is still amazing! I also really appreciated having a flat rate shipping fee! Thanks NDA, I'll be back to order again! Keep up the amazing work!

Updated Review: I must say, I didn’t have the best first hand experience with this company, but they’ve definitely righted their wrongs. I was refunded for the containers that were the wrong color and sent an email from the manager regarding the matter. I was also able to pick up the seals that weren’t provided in my order even though I was told on the phone they’d be mailed to my home; I was at least given the option to pick them up. Cynthia has also been a pleasure to speak and deal with in person.nRocky start, but they clearly have some form of integrity. I appreciate that! Thanks team!nnDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!nI ordered a 200g and 100g sized containers in olive green for my business 2 weeks ago. My product launch is in one week and just noticed they sold me 30 dark forest green 100g jars instead of olive green. Now I have two different colored jars for my business launch. On top of that, the 100g jars came without the safety seal and the jars wreaked of basil!!!nObviously not happy, I sent an email regarding this discrepancy only to get a call back saying “sorry” they can offer a refund but “it’s the suppliers fault” & they also no longer have the olive green containers in stock. What am I supposed to do about that as a business owner? Clearly there is no quality control inspection being done at this business either. Now I’m questioning if the oils and butters they sell are even authentic. Who knows because no one’s checking!nHighly disappointed in this first time interaction and will NEVER do business with them again. As a content creator, I will be sharing this across my social media platform as well. Totally unprofessional and disorganized.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. I called two days ago to inquire about a discrepancy in the shipping rate on their website. The customer service rep assured me that IT would look into it and call me back. I never heard back, so I called again today. This time, I was told that their shipping cost estimates are not accurate. I explained that I needed to place my order right away since I had already lost two days waiting to hear back from them.nThe representative informed me that they can no longer rush orders and that my particular order is not stocked on the shelf and has to be filled by hand, which would add several more days. Despite my request for expedited processing due to their delay, I was told that nothing could be done. The representative mentioned that their website had changed and is being updated and is under new ownership.nIt is unacceptable that I had to wait two days for a response, only to find out that they cannot accommodate my order in a timely manner. The lack of communication and inability to address the issue has been incredibly frustrating. I can no longer recommend this company to anyone who values prompt and reliable service. I would like to point out that I have been buying from New Directions for more than 16 years now. Unfortunately, the new owners are taking what was once a golden company and running it into the ground.
