I came to New banadir with my wife for a late night bite hoping that this authentic Somali restaurant would hit the spot. She was immediately disappointed by the state of the bathroom and hygiene/upkeep of the restaurant. We were then escorted to a private room that was connected to the kitchen. My wife decided against ordering there but I wanted to give it a fair shot so I ordered a mix plate half rice/half pasta and beef suqaar. The food was alright, the soup was slightly bland , and the lemonade juice was really watered down perfect for a diabetic person. I was really hungry so I finished my plate and let out a burp while my wife was sitting their disgusted. Probably will not be coming back here anytime soon but got the experience.
This is the first time I had somali food. Guess what I found my place to eat healthy good food whenever I want to. Its my new spot. The meat tastes so good. The steak is juicy and tendered with the flavourful aromatic rice ! Ahh my belly is happy. Thanks boss.

I went to check this place out and was hungry. I was so revolted at the state of just the windows of the place that I turned around and left. They've never been cleaned and were caked with years of grease. If all these people say this is authentic Somali, maybe you should think twice and then again before ever going to a Somali restaurant anywhere in Toronto. Absolutely shameful conditions. I bet there are health hazards galore. I beg you all to stop eating here as it's giving you all a bad name.
Got take out from here for iftar. The food was absolutely delicious. The servers are great people, served me with 10 mins left to sunsey.
Picked up some food from on our way back from innisfil. We were worried as it was late and we weren't sure if wewould be able to get food. The best thing is 24 hrs. We got ribs, chicken, steak and rice. Everything was super delicious.
