Nice area, would recommend if you are looking for a place to take a walk with. Dogs are allowed on leash. HOWEVER, A friend of mine and I went to get information from the nature center that is there for a school project but the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and did not want anything to do with us (except to see us leave). We ended up leaving with just pamphlets of information instead of actually talking to someone, which is what we wanted to do. Waste of an hour drive for us...

Nice lake for taking a walk fishing is good early in the year April and May when stocked with trout. Lily pads and other vegetation grows in around the end of may beginning of June limiting your fishing areas. Native trout are pretty much tough to catch. There is large mouth bass in the lake also not sure on the small mouth and there is lots of sunnies too!

Great park close to Drums. No restroom facilities unless the visitor center is open. Many different trails that aren't all connected. Bigger trails also have varying landscape which makes it more interesting.

Beautiful wooded park with a small lake and some nice, easy to walk trails. The visitor center has been closed both times I've tried going in but from the outside it looks very nice. There is no camping here, although that may change in the future since this is a fairly new state park.
