Neptune Wonton Noodle

Very dependable, consistent great Chinese food. Nice portions too On the pricier side but service and friendly staff is rare in Chinese restaurants and this one has it. My go to Chinese restaurant in Surrey. Dropped from 5 stars to 4, because their portion size a little smaller from before now, shrinkflation.

A moment ago Very disappointing. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant for my son's birthday, but wish we had gone elsewhere. We have never had such bland tasteless Chinese food. The wonton and dumpling tossed noodles came with a bowl of broth which we hoped would add flavor to the unappealing taste of the noodles, but it tasted like water. I The 3 wonton and 3 dumplings were ok, but almost indistinguishable and there was nothing in the noodles, but a big chunk of iceberg lettuce on the side. I have never seen my son not finish a bowl of noodles, but he left them aside and didn't even want to take them home. We ordered the Sauteed Shrimp with Cashew Nuts, but they brought us what must be chicken instead. The cut peas were fresh and crunchy and bright green... very nice. But again there was no flavoring or spice added to this dish. The pieces of chicken were pale tasteless lumps, the cashews seemed to be dumped on top from a bag... the whole dish was bland. As well as completely the wrong menu item. Again, the Sliced Beef with Ginger and Pineapple was bland and tasteless. There were about 6 chunks of pineapple in the whole dish, and you had to search out the thin slices of ginger which had fallen to the bottom. Other than actually eating a piece of ginger or pineapple, there was no taste of ginger or pineapple to the dish. I don't know how that is possible... they are flavors so easy to add. The beef was tender but bland. The vegetables were at least 1/3 chunks of raw red onion. The service was good, the tea was very nice, in tall glasses instead of small cups. We were given free bowls of sweet red bean soup for dessert... probably the most tasty part of the meal. We brought home the leftovers of the cashew dish and beef dish, with the hope of adding some flavor from our cupboards, and left the unappetizing tossed noodles. Our curiosity is sated and though we walk by often, will never eat here again. Even cheap takeout is much better. Save your money. You couldn't get more bland and disappointing if you tried. The food was terrible, it was the most depressing food we have ever had in our lives, feeling abused. The sauce for the chicken was like a dishwasher, the beeading was just a mushy dough. Deep fried pork, was just pieces of fat deepfried with a side vinegarsauce was basically a vinegar to dip them in! Never order delivery dinner for 3! Disgusting.

Neptune Wonton Noodle and Neptune Seafood has separate dining area and kitchen but share the same entrance and ownership. The Neptune Wonton Noodle has a more casual decor and your typical Hong Kong quick service restaurant menu. Unfortunately I wasn't thinking of taking photos until the end of the meal. Our party all ordered noodle soup. It was $12 for a good size bowl and came with a little dessert square. For a prime location and nice decor it was reasonably price. However other items on the menu are a little pricey all things considered. So pick carefully if you care about value for your dollar. Also take out box maybe extra $2 as I seen on a special. The food was great. The dumplings were amazing and large. The soup and noodles on point. The little dessert square was a nice touch too. The service was surprisingly good for a Chinese restaurant .

Reasonably priced. Ordered the lunch of the day. Corn and chicken soup, rice with bbq white chicken and roasted duck. Delicious and filling meal. Love their wonton beef brisket noodle soup as well.

Service and price are good, but the foods are just ok.

I went there for lunch today on Nov 8 Tuesday. Ordered BBQ Pork Rice Noodle Soup. The pork was so dry definitely not Cantonese style and mini portion. Pop was $2.99 per can it was outrageous price. I won't go back again. Parking: A lot of mall parking

Higher end Chinese food. It is a must try if your in the area.Food: 5/5

Had the set menu meal for two. Consisted of 5 course if we include the tea starting with soup and ending with a warm dessert. Food was good and tasty. Quantity is a lot. Two of us couldn't finish. Luckily staff provided a box for us to carry back food. RecommendedFood: 5/5
