Nemmers & Petrie Family Dental

After a not so pleasant dental experience, I was feeling apprehensive about going to the dentist. As soon as I made my appointment, I knew this experience would be different. From the receptionist, to the hygienist, to Dr. Petrie herself, everyone made the experience very pleasant. The cleaning was gentle, and I was encouraged by the visit. Dr. Petrie took the time to talk to me about my dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Petrie for anyone looking for a dentist. This is my new dental home!

Dr. Petrie has taken care of everything from dental emergencies with my kids, to helping my staff with dry sockets after a wisdom teeth removal to personal care for myself. She and her staff are great to work with.

We are extremely happy with our experiences at Nemmers & Petrie Family Dental practice! The staff make us feel welcome from the moment we walk through the door. We've been especially impressed with Dr. Nemmers and Dr. Petrie and their work with our children. My children have enjoyed every trip there. They come home with a positive attitude about their dental visit and they look forward to their next appointments! Let me start off by saying that I'm not exactly a fan of going to the dentist - Yes, I'm one of those people. I have been to quite a few dentists in the Cedar Valley; changing offices due to retirements, relationships or whatever. My most recent visit to Nemmers and Petrie was absolutely the best experience I have had. I saw Dr. Jamie Petrie for a routine cleaning and checkup. Both her and the staff were simply amazing. From the check-in and cleaning to the exam, everyone was extremely pleasant, professional, fun and genuinely glad to have you there. Not a lot of offices give you this kind of regard when you are there. One of my biggest gripes about going to a medical provider is the often absurd wait times. This was not the case at here. After I filled out my paperwork, I doubt I waited more than 3 minutes - Awesome! AND big props to the hygienist that had the privilege of working on me. It wasn't your typical poke, slash, scrape and hammer. She was very gentle, likes dogs and gave me an exclusive preview on the new raspberry mint, professional grade, tooth paste. It's good by the way. At the end, I even got a face rub. She called it a "cancer screening". Whatever. I'm not saying I'm special or anything but I did get a SWEET swag bag as a parting gift. You don't get that kind of thing just anywhere. Bottom line: It's a great place to have people poke around in your mouth. I will be going back and I will be telling everyone I know to go there. We love Dr. Petrie! Both of my young daughters have anxiety about the dentist and she has calmed their fears every time! She takes the time to get to know them, talk to them, and explains things in a way they can understand. You can tell she truly loves what she does. My husband and I also love how calm and thorough she is with us. From young children to adults, I would recommend this office to anyone!!
