I just wish they would do something about how rude the patrons are. The bullying in the gym is so bad and people are always bodyshamed. On top of all that, I would get harassed by people who didn't like me while doing a lifeguard course. When I talked to the cashier they didn't even do anything. The pool is very nice but the people in the gym ruin the atmosphere.
Great staff. Awesome facility. Pool is great for all ages. Giant sauna and steam room. Very happy to have found this rec centre while in Nelson!
Please extend your public pool hours especially during a heat wave. 3 PM on Sat and Sunday is way too early to close. It's nearly 40 degrees this weekend. Please consider the health and safety of the public. Having the pool open until 6 or 8 could literally save someone's life in this heat.
The gym has outgrown itself and packed with kids standing around inbetween machines. The place is always clean and maintained but no real control of the situation. Hard pressed to find any other drop-in locations available.
Great facilities.The ice is awesome.Super friendly staff Absolutely love playing ice hockey there
