Nellie Carlson School

This is one of THE WORST schools I have delt with. I have actually had more respect from a teacher as a student. The teachers take ZERO responsibility for their own actions and blame the 9 yr old students. When requesting meetings do not inform you and make sure they dig up everything from kindergarten to the present to ambush you with documentation that has NOTHING to do with the meeting. They implied I am a bad parent, a liar and the teachers role their eyes and think your child's education is a joke. Not to mention the principal is sexist and did not have much to do with me. Hr responded to my husband while I was talked down to like on of his students. While discussing a project being ruined in a teachers care they took no responsibility nor did they have any respect for the parents. My son not only doesn't feel safe or heard neither do we as parents. They actually set projects up for the kids to fail so they can discuss what they could do better.... I don't think children should be set up for failure. There is LITTLE help to be offered here other than finger pointing, condescending remarks, and collectively covering their own butts. Not to mention their pius attitude that they know better than the parents. My son even got blamed for an significantly older kid hitting him. It wasn't until we documented our incident with the Dr and sent a very upset email that something "might" be done. This wasn't the last incident with bullying. Sad and pathetic excuse for a school. Too expensive school and almost like private school. They don't have a good communication with parents

A well bulit beautiful location and Newly built school good staff and easy to commute.

This is the best school my children have gone to. The staff is amazing!! Couldn't be better :)
