Have used this provider since moving to NC in 2005. It was dr sivaraj until about 2 years ago. They have kept his quality of medical practice very customer oriented. We now see Dr Dillon and she truly is a breath of fresh air in these difficult times. Thank you!!!
Dr.Samodal is a good Dr but my husband has standing prescription for pain management and several times someone in the office has dropped the ball on renewing his prescription. He is a Veteran and been on pain meds for over 20 years due to a debilitating condition. This is a recurring issue.
I just saw Dr. Brianna Dillion for a yearly check up and she was fantastic!!! The office was very clean and I felt very safe. It is so nice to have your primary care doctor so near. I don’t have to travel an hour to see her. Dr.Dillion is absolutely wonderful. She takes time with you and is very attentive. So glad she is my doctor!!!
Excellent care is provided by every Doctor, Nurse, and PA with this practice. Our entire family has been using Neighborhood Family Clinic for all of our health needs since 2002. We always receive consistent, high-quality care. They truly listen to the patient and take the time to get to know you. They are also very proactive in keeping you in optimal health. We have always gotten thorough, easy-to-understand answers to questions and wouldn't consider using any other practice, for any reason. The staff who help with scheduling are ALWAYS kind and patient, making sure that you can see a doctor at the earliest possible time.
While friendly, the concept of "urgent care" is to be urgent. Husband came in with an injured and swollen ankle at 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. We were the only ones in the entire parking lot or waiting room. 45 minutes went by with not a single customer or doctor in or out and when we asked about how long the wait would be the receptionist could only answer with, "Oh not too much longer". 15 minutes later and we asked if they could perhaps check for a more definitive answer and again, all I was told was, "not much longer". We asked for our co-pay back and went to Fast Med down the road where we were seen within 20 minutes. When an office is busy, I understand waiting but an hour without a single patient being seen and empty really lacks any urgency at all. If you're in pain, don't go here.
This is supposed to be an "urgent care" facility. To my understanding that means that almost any person with insurance could come in and be seen, but this was not my experience. I went in, feeling like I had been hit by a truck and had to argue with the receptionist about why I was not seeing my PCP instead of a doctor here. I explained to the receptionist that my PCP was my OBGYN but she still insisted on contacting the insurance, asking me over and over why I wasn't seeing my PCP, and making me wait more than 10 minutes when nobody was in the lobby before finally saying that they would allow me to see someone here "this time." Turns out that I had the flu AND strep throat so I really appreciated having an argument about why I was there before getting the attention and medicine that I needed. The only reason that I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because the nurse practitioner was very nice and helpful. However to me it is a big problem when the first face you see when you walk in, the receptionist, is argumentative instead of being helpful, friendly and compassionate.
I have been going to Neighborhood Family Care for years now, and I trust the staff, literally, with the well being of my life. Although, there have been tumultuous periods of time, where a provider would move on to a different practice, I have made enduring relationships with Dr. Samadol and Dr. Hoover, respectively. Wonderful providers that are empathetic and helpful, and provide impactful care.
Went to Neighborhood Clinic for a walk in, sick visit this Saturday am. Staff was pleasant. Dr. Samodal saw me. Asked the right questions and set up a plan to get me back in action. 100% happy with the visit and service from all involved.
I went in for a general check up and was seen by Brianna and she was wonderful. Her bedside manner and patient care was great and I felt very comfortable around her. She answered all my questions and was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place.
If you want to wait for an hour at an "Urgent" care facility choose this one... I made this mistake. I was the ONLY patient at the "urgent" care area. Waited about ONE hour! I think they let only 1 super young P.A handling the whole area. My husband went for an scheduled appointment & waited a bit less. We are never coming back. Also, receptionist took forever. Disliked!
