This place is great, I eat here for lunch 3-4 times a week. I love that they have a different hot plate special every day. It’s only $8.75 incl. tax for the entree of the day with salad. Spacious and clean seating area, too.
Awesome food everyday! They have a pasta station inside. Live food made in front of you. This cafè is just not for uni kids but can be accessed by everyone. Very nice and spacious, with helpful staff and a talented chef. The location is very accessible and convenient. Positive vibe and great ambience.
Tasteful lunch and dinners. They always offer a veggie option and if you're vegan, you might also be in luck. Their lasagna is my absolute favorite, it's normally served on a Monday. Plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal or study. Definitely my top pick for lunch
There are ready-to-eat options salads, wraps, sandwiches, sushi etc. and hot food a different daily lunch and dinner entree plus 1-2 daily soups. There is also Balzac's drip coffee, tea, snacks and baked goods from Panera I believe. Soups are usually quite tasty but I find the entrees on the expensive side and there isn't always a vegetarian option. However, if you're looking for a quick meal on this side of campus, Ned's is your best bet. Clientele isn't just students either - you'll also get some of the lunchtime crowd from the nearby offices.
Ned's cafe is THE best cafe on campus. Ever. The food is always delicious and fresh. You get actual meals rather than premade stuff that you'd usually get at other cafes. The portions are SO generous! Wayyyy more food for the money you pay than ANYWHWRE else. Their colslaw is absolutely amazing! My favorite! I love Ned's so much! Friendliest staff and they have halal options. Can't beat that
The quintessential UofT dining experience: sandwich, overpriced banana, good freaking coffee.
A little bit overpriced but they have quick food sandwiches, salads, hot food, pastries and Balzacs coffee not espresso. Space is nice but there are better in-campus cafes with tastier food.
They have nice breakfast options and baked goods. However, their grab and go sandwiches are overpriced for what you get, also, never buy their sushi, the rice tastes too sour.
Cafeteria food - and not so great at it either. There's potential in creativity of their food, but falls short in their service and quality of food. I went in the evening.
Daily lunch hot specials and sandwich specials, student pricing and varying quality.
