I tried paneer tikka masala and tandoori gobi. The paneer tikka masala was average and tasted more like paneer butter masala. Unfortunately, tandoori gobi was disappointing. Cauliflower was not cooked and tasted raw. Never gonna try this recipe again. Expected better food for the price I paid.Food: 2/5
Overall it was a bit disappointing, the restaurant opened yesterday and had high expectation, I hope they will improve. Mutton Seekh Kabab were very dry and had very little marination also the price is very high for a few pieces $19.99. Chicken tikka and malai tikka were good. The Kadhais were not the best , very oily and had tooo many onions and green peppers which were cut badly a bit too big. The chili paneer same issue with the onions and peppers . The biryani tasted fine. The mutton in all dishes need to be cut better by the butcher. The nans were the best light and good size.
Very much enjoyed our meal. We had to wait a bit but that is okay it is valentines day after all so they're probably very busy with orders, I am happy to wait for good food. The onion bhaji was very flavourful, a little different than what we are used to in the city, meatier and a bit drier but not in a bad way. The butter chicken and chicken korma both had lovely delicate flavors that again I am not used to getting from the other Indian restaurants in Kingston. The Naan was very good, quite big and a bit chewier and had a different flavor profile than we are used to in Kingston. I am looking forward to trying more dishes in the future, I am definitely going to reorder, for me I think this restaurant is definitely in the top tier of Indian restaurants in Kingston.
Had ordered Chicken Dum biriyani and Chilly chicken as I wanted try out the new place. The chilly chicken was good and tasty, but unfortunately the chef forget to put not even a pinch of salt while he made the biriyani. And the biriyani sucked. Maybe for next time check for salt while making food. I hope this was a one off mistake.
Tried the Chicken Biriyani today. It was truly the best I ever had in Kingston. The quality of rice and meat was excellent. Since our South Asian community is growing so well, I think we need to support our local business who are putting lots of effort to serve in our community. We are hoping they will always use authentic Halal Meats so that everyone can be inclusive in the community. I am wishing all the very best for your success and Thank you to serve us. Parking: Good numbers of parking spots. It's not really in abusier side of the town. So parking is not an issue.
I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with Indian food in Kingston the last few times i’ve ordered from Kingston staples, so decided to try somewhere new! Definitely will be ordering again as everything was so delicious and with good portions for the price. Very happy to have a new favourite!
Highly recommend for authentic Indian cuisine! Delicious food and huge portions with variety of dishes to choose from. The owners are super nice and welcoming. Best place to satisfy your cravings.
I ordered Paneer Do Pyaaza, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala from this place yesterday. I was amazed at how delicious and satisfactory the food tasted. This is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Kingston. I will definitely order more dishes from here regularly, I just wanted to share my opinion about this one as it deserved the praise. I hope they keep up 'this' level of food quality. Thanks
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing - pure authentic food. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. The staff truly cares about your experience. Highly recommend!
I ordered the Mutton Kadahi and a Naan. Needless to say, that taste was awesome, so delicious, juicy, and tender. The portion was enough for two people. Naan was large and sufficient for a single person. The food was absolutely fresh and quick to deliver. Next time I will try another dish. All the best to the owner for providing a real taste of India.
