I've never actually done grocery shopping at Nations, so I'm basically only reviewing the hot food section. These prices CANNOT be beat - $10.99 for a 2 item combo, and they really load it up. I wish I got a photo of how much meat they gave us, because it was no joke. It can easily feed two hungry people. You cannot get that much food for $10.99 anywhere else in the GTA anymore. The quality is also decent.nnWe also ordered some of the dishes individually. The beef ho fun $5.99 wasn't the best, but for the price I wasn't expecting much beef anyways. The sweet and sour pork was solid. Overall, I'd highly recommend the hot food section if you're in the area for a cheap and tasty meal.nnWe also picked up a bottle of soy milk on our way out. Unfortunately, it had already gone bad, which we discovered when we got home. Hopefully this is a one time thing.
Amazing first visit to Nations! The store was super clean and I was really impressed with the size of their fresh produce and meat section. They had all of my regular Asian products but also had brands that I have not tried before. I also got some fresh steam buns to go and they were fabulous.
Decent Asian grocery store. Prices are usually really good when compared to the local options like Fortinos and Walmart. Cash and debit only. No Credit cards. They also have a fresh food area for quick eats.
Very good grocery store with lots of Asian variety fresh fruits and veggies as well as a lath BBQ meats section. Generally lots of parking space. Need to bring your own bags here!nNegative: only cash/debit, no bags sold.
Over the years, Nations Fresh Food has on-and-off been one of our go-to groceries. It offers an array of Asian and international items catering to the local demographic needs and is conveniently located by Hwy 400 and Hwy 7. The cleanliness and lighting has improved since our last visit a year ago. It has a wide section of produces, meats, some seafood, Asian specialty aisles, deli, bakery, sushi and hot food.nnThere are more renovations being done near the bakery section but the food court is now back after being closed all throughout the pandemic. I’m surprised they still mostly accept only cash and debit after all these years. The price point here is slightly lower than other groceries nearby.
