Nashville Hot Chicken Shack

Currently my favorite place to grab lunch downtown. I do with the HCK salad with the traditional hot fried chicken. The salad is pre-made but it has a nice variety of veggies, good amount of cheese, and BACON. I have always been a fan of spicy chicken salads, and this one is good.

I found the place to be really good. Don't understand why people are so salty about this place. Here's a suggestion to all you salty people lose weight and learn how to eat good food

After a 25 minute wait, the chicken served was coated in oil and hardly crispy -- think wet, self-dissolving skin. The sides were also uninspired. HCK is new, so hopefully with constructive feedback they can improve.

Chicken was better than most, juicy and crispy for sure. Southern green beans were meh... and the fries were pretty bad. If it would have $6-8 , ok but I walked out paying $12 and change. Definitely overpriced, but it's not terrible. Try it for yourself!

It was ok. Dont go close to closing, the menu variety drops. It was decent for the price.
