Amazing ambient, inspired by Brooklyn hipster style cafes, with lovely live music. The Persian- Lebanese brunch is one of the best dishes that we have ever tried in Ontario. They also have fine and delicious French- Middle Eastern pastry. This place is owned by a cool, lovely, and friendly couple. Strongly recommended!Recommended dishesVariety of Pastries, Tokhmorgh Khorma, Brisket Eggs
Its a cute, vibrant spot for brunch. The owner is really humble. I just wish they had more options like omelets, waffles, pancakes, french toasts. I understand they have a simple middle eastern menu and maybe they dont want to add to it. But we have so much diversity here in Canada and adding those options would cater to a larger community.
We found this gem on Mother’s Day unexpectedly. The atmosphere is great and the decor is stunning. The owners were super friendly and accommodating with a positive vibe. The waiter Benson was also very friendly and precise, making sure that everyone were taken care of. The food was to die for and very well presented. We will for sure be regulars and will recommend this place to everyone!
Gorgeous, beautiful spot for brunch. Thanks to our friends mentioning about Narenj, we had brunch here today and it turned out to be a fabulous one. This chic cafe is beautifully decorated on the inside and equally lovely on the outside. With the weather being gorgeous today, we sat outside with our friends and enjoyed quite a few of their delicacies such as their Braided Cheese Shakshouka, Brisket Braided Cheese Shakshouka - both were served piping hot in mini cast iron pans along side salad and bread. We also had their Brisket Eggs, Brisket, Cappuccino, Lemon Frappe, and by far the tastiest, flakiest Almond Croissant and Date with Pistachio Croissant! I mean the flavours of each dish was simply amazing, the service top-notch, ambience simply wonderful, thus making it the perfect brunch on Canada Day. Needless to say, we've already recommended Narenj to all our friends.
This place was stunning and great for brunch option in Oakville. What an adorable spot, with good brunch options. Very unique presentation of food art. Tasty but will come for different meal next time. The decor is warm and cosy filled with plants, piano, rustic furniture & wall arts. The menu is a little on pricey side but worth checking out. The owner & servers were very friendly and accommodating my request. Will be back soon!
A very oriental fusion hub .. went there for a brunch. They have a very interesting and delicious dishes though they lack the variety of brunch options. I loved the dessert menu as it is rich and diverse. The hostess picked for us a pistachio mousse which is heavenly smooth and flavoursome. And a crunchy chocolate bar that has the richness of chocolate and crispness of the added layers of flakey and crispy yummies The portions are good and little over priced but the quality of food and experience totally worth it The place has a very unique decorations and plenty of space indoor and outdoor
I can’t wait to go back and try something new! A very welcoming set up, very hospitable owner, amazing food , and a great blend of flavors. Their croissants are exceptionally good! My favorite dish was the eggs with dates and walnuts. We were a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed the food. Very well prices for the quality offered
What an adorable spot, with good brunch options. Some are the standards such as Shakshouka and Muhammara. There are other more unique options for the adventurous. Delicious offerings all around! Dine in area is cosy and unique with an abundance of plants and eclectic decor. Space is clean despite being a very busy spot. Service is friendly and fast. Wonderful staff who were very efficient and accommodating to our requests. Menu is a little pricier than what can be reasonably expected for the offerings but the food is delicious so worth checking out!
I hear alot about this restaurant and I was very excited to visit it. First the good, the setting and ambiance were very nice. Definitely a cosy place. The first thing I tried was the croissant, which was nice and crispy on the outside, but cold on the inside for some reason. Never the less, for the GTA, it was one of the better croissants I've had.. aside from it having way too much butter. But that seemed to be the theme for the other dishes that we had. The flavors were alright, but the dishes were unnecessarily oily. What was really bad was the condition of the bathroom, and the fact that there was no soap available by 12:30 pm. Add to that the extremely high cost, and a waitress that was clearly sick but had no mask on, and you end up with two stars. I really had high hopes for this restaurant, and I believe that with some changes it can be a brilliant restaurant. I wish the owner or management reads my review and makes at least some changes, because I plan to visit again, and hopefully take down this review and put up a better one.
I tried everything in the pictures and two more dishes which were the in laws and the shakshoka. I would come back for the brisket cheese eggs only as a main. And for sure for the desserts and pastry they were special. Tea is good Coffee is Little over average $$ Would come back.
