It's a nice place to walk on pavement and connects all the way down to the other side under a bridge which then you can head to the playground park. It's usually pretty busy, but there is a lot of parking if you don't mind walking down a slight hill.
One of the nicest views around Kingston, this is a super unique spot to go with friends or a significant other. The river is lit up at night in various spots adding to the vibe.
Was a great place but like most places and things the government wrecked it. Putting fences up and blocking water access. I'm 65 and can remember playing in the falls as a kid. Only bumps and bruises now and then. But now you never see kids there. Just old folks that complain if a kid makes noise.
Napanee Falls is a clever human made cascades that are very pleasing to observe and hear the sounds the water makes. It’s very well cared for, the trail is easy and there are plenty of parking, bathrooms are available and you can either enjoy it from the top and make your way to the bottom or park on the lower parking lot.Please don’t cross the metal gates and don’t litter while enjoying the park.
A beautiful place made fully wheelchair accessible. Very much worth the visit. My wife and I go many times. We bring my elderly mother before hospital visits in Kingston to calm her. Great job Napanee.
