Anglophones: My truck broke down in cap-chat two months ago and I needed a new alternator. This shop was able to get me in ASAP which was appreciated and then gave me a quote for ~250 for the part and install. The next day when we went to pick it up they handed us a bill for $634 which was communicated to us in extremely rapid french that my girlfriend struggled to keep up with and understand, but she relayed to me that they had charged $180 for “driving the truck to see if the alternator now charged the battery” which was the mechanic driving my truck around the block twice for ten minutes we saw him leave and come back. testing which you would’ve figured was a part of the install? and then they replaced my serpentine belt for another ~$180 because they said I had gotten to the amount of kms on the current belt to want to replace it. something I certainly would’ve liked to be consulted with before they went ahead and did it, we had already taken a lot of losses with being stuck in cap chat and this super inflated repair did not help and felt a little sneaky. the repairs are sound, haven’t had a problem since and some of the folks are friendly, but just be sure you know what you’re being charged for ykno
Stopped in for a quick oil change, they were friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend this garage.
Excellent service
We came today for a turn signal change. We were very well received and helped in less than 30 minutes during the busy time when people come to get their tires changed. No time wasted on our road trip, it was perfect. Thank you team!
Nous étions totalement dépourvus suite a un bris mécanique sur notre f150 vers la fin de notre séjour de vacances et devions revenir dans 2 jours. Malgré un achalandage marqué au garage, Martin a accepter de nous dépanner. Il a tout fait pour trouver la pièce manquante et le lendemain nous pouvions pendre possession de notre véhicule. L accueil et le service ont été formidables. Ils se sont bien occupés de nous. Nous recommandons ce garage sans hésitations.
