NAPA AUTOPRO - Centre D'Auto Lavigne Inc

I just went for a winter tire change, and was disappointed by the service. I came back home and realized they never put back the tire cap (they left it on my summer tires), which is really easy to do. Also a week later, I had three flat tires because they didn't clean the rim and there was too much rust... something that I had other garages verify previous years and would mention to me. I don't know how they could screw up on such a basic job, but I'm never going back there. .. Plus when I went back to complain they had the worst attitude and didn't acknowledge their mistakes.

They were my go to garage when I lived in Ste Anne. However, they would often recommend work I didn't need. Just before I moved away, my head gasket blew and they recommended I get the work done ($$$) even though my car had many other problems that meant I had to scrap the car soon after. Problems they had never mentioned. I would have been much better off spending that money on a replacement car. Definitely do not go there if you can avoid them.

I am a true believer in trying to support your local small scale businesses. However, this shop failed at every step and has left me writing my first review of anything. I highly recommend that you do NOT go to this shop!!!! Hands down my worst experience at an automotive establishment. All I wanted was an oil change, and I was rather open in terms of timing. I was told to bring my car back by in the morning at 8am and it would be done by lunch time. Lunch came and went with no phone call. I returned at 3pm to find that they were just then even getting to my car. There were 2 open bays in the shop, so they can't say they were too busy (although they did try to use that excuse in a very smug and patronizing manner). Around 5pm I was finally leaving the shop having paid $117 for just an oil change!!!! I will never return, nor recommend to anyone.

Failed to repair a tire puncture properly. Pretty tough.
