Nan’s Noodle House in Calgary is a small plant-based restaurant with big flavors! We had the salad rolls, Laksa, and Miso Ramen, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Thai iced tea and Pineapple cooler were refreshing too! Though the venue is small, the taste more than makes up for it, and they also have an amazing takeout section. I’d recommend this place to anyone, even if you’re a meat eater—these flavors are just that good!
Being a Vegan is difficult. That too finding a vegan restaurant is very difficult. This restaurant is a great place for vegans. Food was tasty and the quantities were more than sufficient. Worth for your money spent.
I was genuinely surprised when I walked in because the menu was super diverse. I was worried there wouldn’t be high-quality food preparation, but I was instantly proved wrong. I usually get Pho from Pho-specific places, but I decided to be adventurous today, and it paid off.nnThe food was amazing; the broth and veggies were flavorful, and while I felt the meat was a bit chewy, it was cooked well.nnThe service was amazing; the lady who helped me decide was friendly and courteous.nnThe atmosphere was vibrant and had a local restaurant feel to it. They had fridges with the sauces they used if you wanted to pick them up, which I thought was amazing. Overall, I loved this place and can’t wait to try the other menu items in the future.
Laksa! Probably the best vegan laksa in Calgary and I don't know how they did it without any seafood or meat!nnThe food here is so flavourful that you forget it's vegan!
Came in yesterday with a friend and I was so impressed! The food was so flavourful and exceeded my expectations for a vegan restaurant. Best of all the lady at the front counter Maggie was soooo nice. She explained the different dishes and recommended some when she saw us struggling to make up our mind on what to order, then explained all the different elements in the dish when she brought the food over. She also adjust the spice for the Laksa because we thought the sample she gave us was too spice for my tolerance. The portions were huge and really good for the price.nWould definitely come here again to try other dishes!
