Such an amazing place to go. My father in law has been going with his parents since he was little then he started to take his son with him and now I go with them! This will be my 3rd year going and I absolutely can’t wait to go! You have no cell service which is great because then you have more time talking with each other and spending great time with each other! I can’t wait to bring my kids one day their! For our family we drive about 13 hours to go to the park and when we drive that far you know it’s worth everything! If you ever get a chance to go, go you won’t regret it!
Nice remote park, no cell phone reception in that area. Very peaceful park
When I made a reservation at this park, I told the receptionist that I would be camping with a one--man tent. When I arrived, I found my site full of dirt, rocks and stones.not one blade of grassThey told me that they are starting to lay stones on these sites. How am I supposed to pitch a tent on that terain, and sleep on it? The washrooms, showers and one potable water station was a 10 to 13 minute walk from my site. This park is not for tents and more for RV camper trailers. I guess I should have done more research. I was booked for 3 days and left after the first. It took me 12 hours on a motorcycle to this park only to be dissatisfied with the site that I was assigned. The officials at this park don't care, that's why they don't even respond to any of these posts. They got my money. Lesson learned. NO SOUP FOR YOU! NEXT!!
We have been to this park twice now. Both times we were able to reserve waterfront sites which were very good for swimming and boating. Showers at the comfort station were clean and tidy. This is a quiet park with a couple of trails, canoeing adventures and good fishing.
Beautiful park. Lots of trails. Great for a day or week. But to far from Winnipeg. Canoe heaven.
Always decent, there's a curfew for generators if you're on the park side. Fishing is not the greatest but the lake is big enough for water sports.
Love it here. Super quite and peaceful. Beautiful lakes and trails. Would definitely go back and one of my favourite provincial parks
Reasonably good... hard to access... beautiful lake... dangerous setting.... no amenities close by... hasn't opened in a few years because of a land dispute which is not being ruled on by the province.
Private sites and scenic walking trails
Up tight. No noise after 8 pm. I'd rather camp in the bush where i can make as much noise and get tipsy if i feel like it.
