Overall this was was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was wonderful attentive without being pushy or intrusive. The chicken Josh and lamb korma were lovely. So much flavor. I cannot pick a favorite. I cannot wait to come back and try more dishes.Food: 5/5
We came here for lunch and tried the $20 meat lunch special. I got the beef curry and my guest got the chicken tikka. It came with rice and naan and both were good. I couldn't tell if this was North Indian or South Indian focused restaurant, seem to have a lot of options from different areas of the India. My beef curry was full of flavor the pieces of beef in the curry were well marinated and seemed fresh. There were no complaints from me. Since there are not that many Indian restaurants which encourage you to dine-in around this area, I believe the two others in the area are take out only. It was nice that they made an effort to make the interior decoration very modern and sleek looking. The bar at the back was nicely stocked and I believe they'll be able to cater to some good parties. The Naan was good, soft and not to buttery, I hate it when they slap on too much ghee, makes it so oily but this was good.
I recently dined here and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere delightful. Prices were fair and they had good deals on buying multiple dishes. The service was also impeccable and fast. Highly recommend this place!Food: 5/5
The Best Indian Cuisine In The Area - Must Go! Saw the new signage for this place while driving recently and finally got the opportunity to try it out. In short, I was actually pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. Usually Indian restaurants here are just okay but this one was legit. The mango lassi was almost the same as my favorite one from spice of nepal and no other place has come this close. The kebab was full of a nice flavourful spice blend and went amazingly well with the provided and delicious mint and coconut chutneys not featured in photos The afgani tandoori chicken was amazing and had a great lemony zest to it. Finally, after being impressed with everything, we couldn't leave without trying the butter chicken and butter naan to go along with our garlic and paneer naans. Suffice to say, also a very delicious meal. If I could offer any advice, I would suggest providing wet wipes to help clean people's fingers because they will be eating naan with their hands presumably. All in all, I had a very enjoyable dining experience and I would highly recommend everyone to give this fine establishment a go. I wish them success and hope they're here for a long time.
Food was DELICIOUS, servers were ATTENTIVE, and the overall atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the Lower Mainland. Highly recommend the Afghani Tandoori Chicken, garlic naan, and any and everything mango flavoured. Shoutout to Inder for being an amazing, considerate, and professional server. Happy to say we will be back for more. Parking: Shared parking lot with other restaurants in the area. Access point from schoolhouse st from lougheed, left on Seguin Dr, then left into the parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking in front of the restaurant with large door entry and seamless floor entrance.
We found the food to be pretty good, the people were really friendly. They are in soft open right now so hopefully this improves, but the service was extremely slow. The portions were also on the smaller side. We found the restaurant to be very loud and hard to hear each other and the servers. Also very cold! Bring a jacket. But we would be open to trying again once they fully open!
Food was delicious. We ordered Kadhai Paneer, Daal Fry, Roomali Roti, Garlic Naan, Rice and Dal Makhni. Except dal fry, rest of the items were fantastic. Atmosphere and Service: Staff and Chef should feel and act a bit humble, specially when they receive appreciation for food. Elegant decor, comfortable seating. Soothing music can add great value. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options.
By far the very best Indian food I have ever had in my life. Only the finest ingredients are used . We ordered through skip all the way from Surrey and definitely worth ordering from even if you're far away. We will always order from here when visiting the Lower Mainland. Every dish was amazing and you can tell a lot of time was put into every single dish. Absolutely amazing!
I have been ordering food from here from a long time. I visited them today excellent services and food was heavenly Indian level spicy food was served oh my god can’t even tell you how long it has been since I’ve had such nice spicy and flavourful food. Service was quick as well we didn’t have to wait a lot and prices is good as well. All the Indian people out there don’t hesitate to try this restaurant! Especially, lamb curry and soya chap. It’s love love love
Beautiful atmosphere, regular food, regular service. Not the best Indian restaurant, but you can try. We had the mogo cassava fried with tamarindo sauce, butter chicken, plan rice, plan naan. Ok, but just ok. Small portions, a little over priced.Food: 4/5
